We are honored to introduce David Moleon as the 8th artist to record a set for the ALU podcast series.

Well experienced DJ and producer David Moleón has invested his time in mixing, music technology, web design and sound technology. With over 24 years of experience, he made his appearance at prestigious events such as Awakenings, Apokalypsa & Aquasella and has his tracks supported by artists like Slam, KlangKuenstler, Shlomo, Dave the Drummer & Cleric.

Both his DJ sets (using 3 turntables) and his live-acts are examples of high-quality DJing, technical ability and force, making him a well-rounded DJ and particularly the stand-out artist from the South of Spain. David has become the most prolific techno producer in Spain. In Europe, he’s also known as “La Joya Española” (The Spanish Jewel).

La inquietud y curiosidad por el tocadiscos de su casa, que se encuentra junto a los vinilos escuchados en un tiempo pasado, empieza a despertarle cierta atracción por la música y comienza a investigar sobre diferentes estilos.

Según pasa el tiempo, se interesa por varias corrientes y va haciéndose con sus primeros temas. Desde Hardcore hasta Progressive, pasando por vocales,  Tech House, Minimal y Techno. Pero es este último el que le termina llamando su atención. Es ahí cuando se encuentra más agusto, donde ve que dentro de ese estilo hay un amplio abanico de sonidos. 

Con el tiempo, también descubre infinidad de artistas en el género, que le influyen mucho, como Cristian Varela, Ben Sims, Raúl Mezcolanza, Eloy Palma, David Moleon, Aitor Ronda, Óscar Mulero, Horacio Cruz, Dj Pepo, Carl Falk, Exium, C-System, Go Hiyama o Takaaki Itoh. 

2005-2011,ZooClub (Tarancón) es la sala donde JBallesteros ha crecido como Dj y por donde han pasado Dj's de la talla de Óscar Mulero, Ben Sims, Dj Pelacha o Dj Pepo. Allí se hace un hueco, creando un vínculo con su propio público con sesiones cargadas de energía muy grooveras y contundentes, y alternando con atmósferas oscuras y robustas al cerrar la sala. 

J-BG/JBall3st3ros a día de hoy se centra en la produccion experimentando su propio sonido, es muy selectivo con el Techno que escoge para sus sesiones, rebuscado entre infinidad de nombres nuevos y siguiendo su línea divertida y groovera y culminando con robustez, pinceladas melodicas de por medio incluso añadiendo producciones suyas. En algunas ocasiones, sobre todo privadas, como J-BG se explaya con el Minimal Techno de antaño y Techno melódico actual. Tampoco reniega de las nuevas tecnologias y formatos como timecode serato, pero el vinilo sigue siendo su recurso más preciado.

Przed większą publiką Sara wystąpiła w lutym 2021 roku. Początkowo skupiona była na szybkich, mocnych odmianach techno z nieco trancowym brzmieniem. Po pewnym czasie, zaczęła odchodzić w stronę lżejszych, jednak nie mniej wolnych brzmień. Obecnie, główne inspiracje czerpie z francuskiej sceny techno i dość młodej odmiany groove, czyli delikatnej, szybkiej stopy przeplatanej licznymi dźwiękami.

Swój wkład w scenę wnosi poprzez Theia Crush, stosunkowo nowy projekt, poprzez który może realizować liczne pomysły związane z szeroko pojętą organizacją eventów.

Sara had her first performance in front of a larger audience in February 2021. Initially, she focused around fast and hard varieties of techno with a bit of a trancy vibe. After some time, she turned towards lighter but not slower sounds. Currently, she draws her main inspirations from the French techno scene and a fairly young variety of groove techno, a delicate, fast paced kick intertwined with numerous sounds.

She contributes to the scene through Theia Crush, a relatively new project through which she can implement numerous ideas related to the broadly understood organization of events.

In this time, the travel consist in the mixing ones of the most funky, nasty and spicy hardgroove sounds of the 90's and 2000's era.

Exilles Bio:
Exilles is a project born from the alchemy of two minds, united by a common desire to undermine, compose and recompose raw, corrosive and dreamy sounds with a mystical and enigmatic imagery. They strictly perform live, orchestrating ancestral ceremonies with analog machines and modular synthesizers, whose dark and hypnotic sounds chase the persistent in a 
synesthetic atmosphere.
With their techno built around the polarity of light and darkness, black and white, continuously keeps us poised between opposites, between consciousness and raving.
After years of experience of residency as LiveAct/DjSet among European Techno scene with other alias, they release the first ep as Exilles on Involve Records, followed by other ep’s on A.R.T.S, Planet Rhythm, Persistence and their own Genau Recordings. They performed Live in different Clubs like Smolna, Griessmuehle, Alte Münze, Fabrik and more.
