Wayn'e breakfast show sidekick was his real life sister-in-law, Majella Marsden, whose on-air persona was 'Dierdre Slack, The Housewife's Friend'. At one time, Wayne introduced a 'Letters to Dierdre' segment called 'Dear Dierdre'. Here is the segment intro, written, and performed by Geoff Robertson (4BK Production Manager) and Peter Cashman.

Once he hit the airwaves, his deep and charismatic voice, zany personality and love of music shot him to fame and fortune.
