Each of these tracks means a huge amount to me and has heavily influenced the direction of my own musical endeavours: the pure sub and mad stereo snare on soundcloud.com/tomcosm's soundcloud.com/pitchblacknz remix was like nothing I'd heard at the time; Smoke Signals is where I discovered soundcloud.com/akashaexperience (and then soundcloud.com/quanta-uk) and I'll never forget hearing their unique take on techy squelching subby dub for the first time. soundcloud.com/internationalobserver came much later for me, but it was love at first listen, moving quickly on to serious obsession.
