superb track, the arrangement is superb, the vocal makes an already excellent track something else, I am surprised, it sounds like there are 3 or more vocalists, yet it sounds as if it's one person, are you using some sort of formant modeller on the vocals ? your engineer must be smiling cos he is making every one with audio ears go "WHAT ?"....
is the song about heroine ? oceans breaking over you and the lie washing over you, reminds me of  what I hear it's like on heroine.....????

05 Harry Hood

This is a test track using my Dingwall NG-2 Bass played through a Darkglass B7K preamp pedal, which was plugged into a Line 6 Helix Multieffects unit used as the Bass Amp. I set it to the 'Truck n'Go' model, completely flat (almost everything at 5), with an Ampeg Impulse Response from OwnHammer. 

The Bass was recorded through a Heritage Audio DMA 73 mic preamp, which is an almost exact Neve 1073 replica. For the drums I used Superior Drummer 2's stock library. There's moderate processing done to this track (EQ, Compression, etc) using FabFilter and UAD plugins.
