This is a track I uploaded a while back and somehow made it private by accident.  This is more of a melancholy bit of upbeat.  Like grasping on to something great at a heavy down time. It's hard to explain how this particular track comes across, but I truly hope you enjoy it!

Inspired by a poem by Robert Bly:

 “Ah, on this planet we are born again and again. A gold sun rises in the East, but for us, it is a black sun. Each time the black sun rises, dazzling and tremendous, its sadness flows into us. ‘If this sadness could not flow out of me, it would kill me.’
I listen and I see a horse-dragon swim up out of the Black Sea. It climbs into the air. Play on, play on - what can we do but long for this dragon-water from the Black Sea to fall on us?”

While making this, the medieval text 'Omnia sol temperat' dumped into my head. As it have the rebirth theme as well, the synchronicity of it all seemed unmistakeable :-)

 This is a song that Chris wrote on the drums, bass, and guitar and shared with the collective. We all love working on Chris's songs, and got to work on it even more enthusiastically than usual. Josh was up first with his lap steel, which he weaves throughout. He also added the sitar at the beginning and the acoustic sitar at the end. Stephen stepped in and added the gnarly electric sitar at the end. JJ also made his presence heard by adding the thrilling organ and electric piano throughout. Ken then augmented Chris's original drums with his own in expert fashion. Last, but not least, Tez added his electric guitat magic to the stew, as well. 

  Since Chris brought this song to the group, and is a fine producer, he did the honors of the mix and production. 

  This is our latest with Chris, whose music we all adore. If you dig this, you should go check out his page, as it contains lots of wonders to hear. We all hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

So!!!.., Stephen ( Tex Mex Shaman) recorded all the music for this classic Christmas song, with his friend, MJ-Brewer on bass guitar… I added my best @ Miley Cyrus sounding vocals! It’s an @ Open Collaboration, so even a caveman can record anything over it, ha!!!Merry Christmas, 2024!!! Hope everyone had a fine year!!! Looking forward to the year, 2025!! Can you believe it?? Still here, ha! My mom thinks it’s too @ rocky, ha! I said, mooooom, seriously???🤣🤣🤣.. it’s like a Chuck Berry blues jazz!! Not too rocky!
