Not sure what that means... maybe spectogram images a la Aphex Twin? Actually, we think it’d be pretty chill if he took the reigns on the “the world’s unique soundtrack” and made it sound a little more like this velvety, floor-shaking, party-starting, spooky, hypnotic house track GHOST he delivered us on the back of a singing Alec Ounsworth from Indie Rock Band CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH.

When i was around 6 my favorite show in Germany was Sesamstrasse. It was a German adaptation of the American Sesame Street. I was really crazy about the show, and I used to always watch it at my Grandparents in Germany.

The intro song was very dear to me. The lyrics went Der Die Das, Wie Weshalb Warum. Which ruffly translates to He She It, How, For what reason, Why.

The intro song spawned this Childish Curiosity in me. I had to explore everything around me. I would bang on lids in the kitchen to hear what they sounded like.

It was this song that made we want to make sounds with different objects, and experiment with early rythms. From this moment on i was engulfed in anything that made a sound.

Simina Grigoriu is back with a new EP dropping this summer on her new imprint Kuukou Records (meaning "airport" in Japanese). The EP is called Techno Monkey/Nina Princess and consists of the two tracks including four other banging remixes, but it was "Ninja Princess" that really got our attention with its sonic explorations of the tropics; lots of percussion, luscious vocas and last but not least; the beautiful shimmering synth pads adding a fine layer of summer time melancholy.
