A curious mix of old school hip hop, beats, monologues, Baile, Bass, Rnb and trap pack a punch with Lush Lata's set, that borrows from the notion that there is calm before a storm. Reveal was the second single from the final Foreign beggars Album ‘Matriarchy’ & features UK Soul singer Laville. A smooth rolling reprise by Beggars long time collaborator and close friend Alix is the first in a series of Foreign Beggars Remixes to be exclusively released through 4NC¥ & //DarkMode over the coming year.
 
The track was released through Bandcamp as part of the Drum & Bass for Palestine initiative by Bou & UKF in 2020 but now receives an official worldwide release through Foreign Beggars own imprint //DarkMode . 

About Foreign Beggars 
Foreign Beggars were an English hip hop and dubstep group including PAV4N, the Head Honcho for 4NC¥//DarkMode. Since their formation in 2002, the group's trajectory had seen them evolve from an underground hip hop group to an electronic crossover act. Rest In Peace to Ebow Graham aka Metropolis. 

About Alix Perez 
Alix Perez is a true artist and a trailblazer in his own right as the Don of DnB. Critically acclaimed, the accomplished artist has a slew of releases, collaborating with Machine Drum, Noisia and Foreign Beggars to name a few and performs alongside EPROM in their duo project SHADES.

Chisel is an emerging Drum & Bass DJ and producer from Christchurch, New Zealand. Drawing on a variety of influences, Chisel is home in the 170+ spectrum and his music traverses from soulful liquid to deep minimal and jungle. Carving out his own sound, 2021 saw the release of his first solo productions with SBK Recordings with many more releases in the works. He has gone on to perform at multiple festivals and club nights both individually, and as part of the duo Formatics, where he continues to host a weekly show on RDU 98.5 FM. 

About Hound
Lucas Iles is a deeply educated Drum and Bass producer and DJ performing under the name Hound. Hailing from the southern New Zealand city of Christchurch, Hound specialises in a sound not regularly heard within New Zealand’s pool of local producer talent. That being the deep and minimalistic sounds of underground Drum and Bass. Stacking up releases on labels such as New Zealand’s SBK, Australian outlet Plasma Audio and UK’s own Four Corners Music, Hound is well underway in finding his home in the underground Drum and Bass landscape.

About Raygun
Joe has been immersed in the scene since 2006 when he moved from London to Southampton for university and got involved with running Raygun Youth club nights amassing an incredible CV of legendary artists he has worked with. 
His brief tenure as a DJ saw him link up with Brighton based rapper Influx. The pair toured a live show extensively for a few years supporting the likes of Grandmaster Flash, Foreign Beggars, Devlin, Akala with appearances at festivals like NASS and Outlook. 
In the 8 years since picking up the mic Joe has played shows from the shores of Croatia to the jungles of Costa Rica and has provided vocal support for the likes of LTJ Bukem, Randall, Break, DJ Marky, Alix Perez, Om Unit, Youngsta to name just a few. Joe has released music on Flexout Audio, Proximity Recordings, Cyberfunk, Ram Records, Rebel Music, Uprise Audio and Overview and has his sights firmly set on releasing plenty more music in the near future with a number of exciting collaborations in the works with the likes of DJ Squarewave, Filip Motovunski, Creatures, Eddy Seven and his long time sparring partner MC Visionobi under their Rogue Jediii alias with producer/ DJ Taelimb.

Yassin Alsalman is an Iraqi-Canadian rapper, novelist, university lecturer, and actor better known by his stage name Narcy (previously The Narcicyst). He now lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. PAV4N is a founding member of Foreign Beggars. Name checked at the Grammys, playing every major festival there is and hitting the UK Top Ten charts, PAV4N has been responsible for introducing wave after wave of underground music onto the world. After the highly influential multi-genre group parted ways at the end of 2019, he blasted back into view with his prolific solo project, which he describes as “A living art piece - the reality of forging a unique path in music, art and the life of a perpetual foreigner”

About Mazzi
NYC emcee Mazzi is the mastermind behind S.O.U.L. (Sense Of Understanding Life’s) Purpose, which he calls “the biggest crew in Hip Hop for the simple fact that if you helped the music to prosper in any way, you are part of the S.O.U.L. His tracks can be classified as Liquid Tech, always trying to carve out a unique sound, every production looks to be as different as the next. Influenced by hip hop, techno, progressive house and downtempo he's trying to bring in other styles to create movement.

About Young Gho$t
Born in London, Young Gho$t moved to Aotearoa as a teenager and began making music nearly ten years ago. A lover of all music, he has been expanding his style in many directions to form a body of work encompassing a wide range of sounds, with 3 albums and a number of EPs under his belt. Having built a reputation as a captivating performer and deft lyricist, he has performed and hosted at festivals and club shows all over New Zealand, as well as earning critical acclaim for his album 'Bad Taste', a collaboration with veteran turntablist Alphabethead. In recent years Gho$t has turned his hand to music for the rave, and 'Sound Warfare' is a reflection of this, marking his first official foray into the world of dubstep.

About Tryst Temps

Tryst Temps is a 21 years old DJ producer based in Toulouse who started mixing on vinyl at the age of 15 at raves, where he played acid and drum n bass. He then performed on the stage of many clubs in the south of France more precisely in Toulouse but also in Bristol.

He has been producing Deep and Dark Drum and Bass as well some rollers and halftime beats. He also made production for some rap artists from Trap to Cloud via Grime Beats.

Blending obscure melody and broken rhythm, his tracks have been released on labels of different colors such as 4NCY, Contrasted, Sublimate, Nu Kvlture or even Dark Bass records.

Inspired by all the spectrum of music genres from Black metal to Jazz, This young hope full producer is in constant search of new innovative sounds and rhythmic and will not stop surprising you with each future release.

About Darama

London-based DJ and producer Darama has had quite an introduction to the underground electronic music scene, with his unique blend of South Asian percussion and UK bass-heavy sounds gaining the attention of DJs and dancefloors across the country. After releasing a slew of club-ready edits, his position as one of the UK’s most exciting new producers was firmly cemented when a clip of his track played at the Daytimers Boiler Room event went viral. 
Born to Punjabi parents, Darama’s heritage and influences can be heard throughout his music – where garage, grime, and UK funky meet frenetic South Asian rhythms to create an instantly recognisable sound. Many of his unreleased, highly sought-after dubs have become staples across Rinse, the BBC, and Reprezent, and his role as a core member of the Daytimers collective has seen him come to the fore as one of the emerging talents in the burgeoning British Asian underground scene. Physically out 21st August and available as a limited run on PAV4N’s website, the lavishly-made saffron and blue 12 inch vinyl comes packaged in stunning artwork from Osom Studios and photography by award winning Indian photographer Mitsun Soni. It features two A-sides, ‘DOOM’ featuring East London based singer Ishani, and ‘2020 FE DEAD’, with both tracks dropping digitally before then, alongside accompanying music videos.

After taking some time to digest recent global events, PAV4N has returned with a perfect totem for our times. Musically both tracks are set to an incendiary 140bpm grime beat, with the pair paying homage to their UK Grime and Dubstep roots – and lyrically, PAV4N takes on the rest of 2020 with a righteous destroyer energy akin to Shiva and Kali, taking aim at global power structures and the systems which supress us. With an over-arching message to tear down the status quo to make way for something better, he describes this feeling as being “like a sitting duck in a crucible of complacency”.

Kicking off 2021 with a bang, we proudly introduce Italian/ UK D&B aficionados Invadhertz! Their upcoming track “Hypnotize” sees them breaking cover from their style of deep techy rollers to present this selection of bass heavy, glitchy Detroit inspired beats. This is the first time ever the duo has experimented with Half Time/Beats music and until this track, they were mostly making drum and bass tunes. 

“We actually started it like 2 years ago and then never finished it, but we reopened the project recently and decided that it was a cool idea and then it deserved to be released.”__ Invadhertz

Hypnotize is the lead single from the EP and features Texas based rapper GEAR featuring styles reminiscent of Foreign Beggars & Noisia’s ‘I Am Legion’ project. Deep beats, saturated synths, eerie pads melodies on rumbling bass lines do exactly what it says on the tin and transport the listener to higher planes as soon as the first beat kicks in. Their main idea came from an atmospheric sample and the bassline that was then garnished with some hip hop drum samples on top!

Invadhertz consists of Francesco Malvaso and Alessandro D’addario Fernandez, both producer-djs originally from Rome but residing in London since 2016.  Their sound, crafted originally in drum and bass, is focused on deep and soulful vibes, characterised by rolling drums, signature sound designs and euphoric atmospheres.
