At Overview Music we are exceptionally proud to present the next instalment in our curated LP series: Zone.

Last year’s Zone 1 was a VA compilation of epic proportions and we’ve really kept our foot on the gas for the sequel, delving into D&B’s underground to A&R some of the best talent around.

Zone 2 sees a veritable who’s who of up and coming artists, like En:vy, Cauzer and Offline, rubbing shoulders with some Overview stalwarts (hello again Gran Calavera!) alongside some of the scene’s leading lights, like Trex, Objectiv and Molecular.

Everyone’s brought their A game and the LP is, to put it mildly, packed to the brim with 21 absolute weapons. We could go on and on about it, but you should really just experience it for yourself. Prepare your ears and strap in for the rollercoaster that is Zone 2.

Glÿph chose to write a new EP in the halftime spectrum after many years of collaboration with Hystatus.  Glÿph and Hystatus are big hiphop fans. It was an excellent opportunity.

Projects Glÿph and Hystatus team up for some serious 4X4 action, laying down some exotic halftime rhythms that wouldn't sound out of place in a movie. The Mose Eisley Cantina Tribal tones merge smoothly with futuristic baselines to create an indigenous but Galactic stir of sound.

About Glÿph

Glÿph is the project established back in 2009 by two Belgium producers, sound engineers and dj's formally known as Clearlight & Owl.
Both fascinated with music since their early childhood, they began working together Inspired by dark, experimental electronic sounds,
Equipping their studio with hardware their first track was born, emerging like a seed forced to grow in the dark creating deep, brooding drum & bass and concise percussion based experimental pieces.
Glÿph has always draw attention with their unique sonic signature that permeates your speakers with an oozing richness and heavy baseline.

About Hystatus

Hystatus are a Halftime/Drum & Bass duo from England/Belgium having both been in the music scene for some time with Luke mastering the guitar, drums and piano and Darshan learning the piano to a high level, whilst developing his skills further with mixing and production. Highly involved in various styles of music, they bring their influences into Drum & Bass as Xenous and Darkan evolving into Hystatus after meeting in Brussels in 2016
In the past four years they have released on Overview, Delta 9, Saturate, Counterpoint and Kinetik Records whilst also performing at events such as Let It Roll, Kinetik Indoor Festival, Inertial and many more.

Sequences returns to Dispatch Limited for this his first solo release on the label, the ‘Atlantis EP’ - 6 tracks of deep, rolling, tech funk with a twist. 

Title track ‘Atlantis’ sets the tone for the whole project, with dreamy atmospherics that drift into growling bass. The clever juxtaposition of this dramatic contrast hits just right.					

With Sequences’ first outing for Dispatch being a collaboration on Brain’s ‘Oscilloscope EP’ in 2019, it is only fitting that Brain joins him to collaborate for ‘Gargle’. The epic introduction packed with suspense from eerie pads and rasping synths soon descends into paranoid metal funk. 

Over four more solo productions Sequences completes the EP with the syncopated ‘Only Me’, the rolling dynamic basslines of ‘Botulism’ and ‘Champagne Bubbly’, before again perfectly balancing the light and dark of ‘Dredge’.

After the success of our first various artists release, ‘The Voice of EKOU’, we’d like to present to you our next installment, ‘The Full Spectrum’. This project started as an idea to create a platform for up and coming producers, however over the previous months has developed into something that has allowed us to include both newcomers and established artists alike. 
	
In the 2 and a half years since our first release, we’ve been on a constant journey through sound, and have been a platform for a variety of artists, all of whom produce a variety of styles under the drum & bass umbrella. With ‘The Full Spectrum’, we hope to showcase our journey for you, our audience; some of you have been with us from the beginning, others are new to the label - either way we hope you know what to expect!

This is our representation of the full spectrum of drum & bass, and what the genre means to us. We hope you enjoy listening to this massive VA just as much as we did putting it together. 

‘The Full Spectrum’ has 22 tracks, split over 2 parts, and features both newcomers and seasoned artists alike. Part 1 drops exclusively on February 4th via Bandcamp and Beatport, followed two weeks later by Part 2 on February 18th.
