Love the funky EP groove. I hear some distinct influences here, bravo!

I wrote the acoustic part 48 years ago (age 17), and the bridge last week.

The bar where I first played the song for my future wife was in Perdido Key, Florida.

This started as a melody I was humming in my head on one of my daily walks and went from there.
 The title was inspired by my wife's Aunt, who's husband was dying at the time. She called one day and when I answered she said,"I think my husband is slipping away from me"

CHERRIES, STRAWBERRIES & BUTTERFLIES
The title kind of speaks for itself, a gentle, friendly and uplifting tune that brings some vintage sounds in. A few different sections alternate with the main hook or signature to lift off or explore some different directions. I kept the instrumentation light and smooth, like a quartet setting, with very little overdubs for that vintage feel. Like those seventies recordings I love.
