Know Hassell Project is inspired by trumpeter Jon Hassell. We do improvised music labeled as Fourth World Music, a term for combining ancient and modern sounds to make an exciting present. While we do not cover any of Hassell's material we do acknowledge his style as a source of our own unique music.
