Co-founder of Counterweight and resident at the infamous Rote Sonne in Munich, we are happy to welcome Gonzo MDF onto our podcast series for episode 191. The spanish-born and now Munich -based DJ and producer is known for a rough and energetic sound, always packing a punch. Since it's inception Counterweight - which started as an event series in Munich - served to bring harder sounds to the Bavarian city, including the likes of Ansome, Dax J and Stranger. In 2017 the project developed into a records label, with it's releases garnering attention from some of the biggest names in the scene. In his own words,  Gonzo MDF is "simply a techno freak", and this unbound dedication to the craft can clearly be heard when he performs. In this guest mix Gonzo presents some hard 90's infused grooves alongside rawer tracks for your listening pleasure.

Active member of the electronic scene for several years, Askkin has built himself alongside Abstrack collective with his residency at the Faktice techno nights in Nantes, helping to crystallize his talents as a DJ.
Now based in Brussels, the producer does not seem to be deviating from his path, taking over Faktice to make it label accompanied by the confirmed producer Exal,
marking of a fruitful collaboration cemented by their common techno/UK influences.
Three remarkable EPs were released there including co-productions with Hadone and Exal. He also signs on Hadone’s label TWND and Julian Muller’s Nali.

ERROR:
I've been DJing since 2019, and since the end of 2020, I've been performing under the name ERROR. I would describe my sound as dirty and groovy. In my sets, you can find many Hardgroove, Tribal, and Dub Techno tracks. Additionally, in 2022, I co-founded the collective LYRASIS with friends. We already hosted a party at Waschhaus Potsdam in February 2023. Musically, LYRASIS primarily focuses on Hardgroove and Trance but is also open to other styles. With the collective, we also run a podcast series and plan to organize more events in Berlin starting next year.

Episode number 64 is brought to you by a rising star in the techno scene, straight out of the french capital. NTBR has been making waves in recent years, pushing his sonic vision of new-age rave and releasing tracks that have gained widespread support among artists such as Anetha, SHDW & Obscure Shape and Shlomo. The young DJ and producer enjoyed a musical upbringing playing guitar and later went on to study sound design. He now also offers his own mastering service and his technical prowess coupled with deep musical background knowledge can be heard in his productions as well as his sets. NTBR has played in major venues such as Rex Club and Griessmühle, not to mention several warehouse parties in and around Paris.  We are excited to see what the future holds for this promising artist.
