"Why should Scotland be an independent country?". 500 Voices for Yes is aiming to get 500 30 second sound files from ordinary people answering this question by 18th September 2014. We hope that this platform will allow us to hear a more democratic and inspiring mix of views in the build up to Scotland's historic independence referendum. Please add your 30 second sound file by emailing it to 500voicesforyes@gmail.com (We accept all file formats). 
Step-by-step guide: 
1. Use the voice recorder on your mobile phone to record a 30 second voice file on "Why should Scotland be an independent country?" 
2. find the file in the 'files' folder in your phone 
3. press the share button and email it to us at 500voicesforyes@gmail.com 
4. Remember to give us your first name and City/Town in the email (e.g. June, Edinburgh)
That's it! We'll then upload your Voice for Yes to https://soundcloud.com/500voicesforyes to help persuade others to Vote Yes on 18th September.
