Deep Secrets is an aqueous exodus from dry land and into the great abyss. 'Cephalohop' opens the EP with some tripped out, rising arpeggios among rich, whirling bass tones. The title track 'Deep Secrets' then drops us into a profound and reflective state amid a slow and bouncy cadence while 'iNk Clouds' continues this slow, reflective pace with a host of psychedelia and robust bass tones. 'Squid Fins' finishes off the EP with a very Tipper-esque journey into the kaleidoscopic, backed up by Spoken Bird with an elegant and beautiful dreamscape remix. As many of you already know, LostinSound.org and the LIS Soundcloud page have gone through somewhat of a ressurection after a series of unfortunate events. We are now in the final stages of launching the new and improved website and re-releasing our past catalogue. In support of our website relaunch, we have reached out to many artists whom we’ve worked with in the past, asking them to contribute an exclusive single for FREE download. After contacting 100+ artists we received 44 incredible submissions. The overwhelming support from these artists speaks for itself.

LIS V/A 003, our most recent compilation, received an incredible reception; attaining 40,000+ listens from over 50+ countries within the first 48 hours. We expect nothing less this time around. This compilation and our collective voice moving forward will focus on sound system and audiophile quality music and events. Our collective goal has always been to shed light on the innovative underdogs within the experimental electronic music sphere, all the while encouraging the moulting process of the over genre-fied mainstream.

We encourage you to share any of the tracks you enjoy on your respective pages. This will ultimately drive traffic here, to our website, where the entire compilation can be heard and downloaded. When i first heard about Eprom from Gaslamp Killer I totally freaked out, but when I heard his album Halflife I knew I had to work with him somehow.  So I called him up and invited him down to LA.  This was a really natural collaboration. He came down to Venice and we sat in the studio for 3 days working on these tunes.  I don’t fan boy about very many producers but Eprom is one of the greatest in my humble opinion and he didn’t disappoint. We had all the analog stuff routing back and forth, then sampling it, resampling it, reworking it — the super cool mind of a maniac up in here.

Moon Juice was made strictly with 808 sounds, even the angelic arp style pads are made from modified 808 kick drums. Crawled Eagle is that more nasty Eprom vibe reminiscent of Center of the Sun from Halflife.  I added all my bits throughout as well.  Listeners beware this ain’t house music if that’s what you are expecting!

This week MalLabel Music is bringing you another thoughtful excursion into experimental bass land with one of our newest favorites. Colorado's NaS-Ja sets the stage again with some sexy-sweet sub infused ear candy. 

Exploring the rich emotional side of experimental Glitch and IDM, NaS-Ja often takes us through the wormhole on an adventure through inter-dimensional space and time. Time and time again he will bring us from the darkest of tumultuous bass laden grime to a place of subtle energetic beauty and peace. With more EP releases than I care to count in the last year alone, the tsunami of visionary conception that floods from his ever evolving deluge of compositions shows no sign of abating... and I can tell you right now that we really don't have a problem with that. 

In his latest trio of musical creations, an EP entitled Shared Pleasures, the music follows this theme through a intimate journey of the senses. Opening with 'Headspace', heavenly pads slowly build into a provocative collection of racy modern bass tones and exploratory arpeggios. The title track follows with hot plucks riding on waves of alternating sensuous atmospheres as desires in the form of growling, synthetic beasts lurk in the shadows. With tripping fields of manipulated voice, artifacts and glass, the finale 'Owl Traps' occupies the space between the flora of a psychedelic forest existing somewhere between this world and the next. Truly an experience; this one's not to be missed.

For the first time Chillage Records held open submissions for the Crunksauce compilation, inviting up and coming and established producers to submit their songs for a chance at a spot on the compilation, resulting in 19 tracks of bass heavy goodness from core Chillage members and many new faces adding their own flavor and style to the mix.
