After returning home from working at the city's central megaspire a maintenance tech boots the terminal in his dimly lit flat. The skyline of neon pours through his large single panel window and bathes the old weathered tile with flashing color. Curious as to what the voltphantom software might be he executes the program and with a static crackle the data begins to assemble. 

This is the moment of impact when the man's personal datalink is overridden by the ancient software. It begins to assimilate with his consciousness and he witnesses a vision that changes his life forever.
