This song is about those times when everything becomes too much. When I need to be in a quiet place, alone, somewhere safe where I can find myself again before I let myself out into the world. 

It can start in a busy street, where there are too many faces and voices and lights and sirens going by; or it can start when I am already alone but my thoughts are spinning around out of control and won’t let me rest. 

At those times a dimly lit room and a soft, mellow playlist turned low are my saviours; they pull me back into myself until I can find my perspective again.
