Gladio Operations presents its sixth work, in which It returns to the format of various artists. In this third compilation tilted "The Analog Theory" we encounter various renowned producers from the electro scene in Europe.

This EP opens with the French producer Jauzas The Shining, with a fantastic track titled “Traveling Light” where we can hear his classic dark and hypnotic sound in all his productions.

Next up, we meet an old acquaintance of the label the Catalan producer Univac returns again showing off their forceful and aggressive rhythms, entering once again into more industrial territories.

Side B takes off with an exquisite cut by Lloyd Stellar tilted “Re-Entering Earth’s Atmosphere”. The Dutch artist who marks his debut in Gladio Operations, gifts us with an enveloping and very well molded track, with perfectly chosen melancholic harmonies.

German producer Martin Matiske who also debuts with Gladio Operations and has productions on prestigious labels such as Gigolo Records or Stilleben, is the chosen producer for the fourth track tilted “Telepathic Tuning”.

The EP closes with "Round Control" by the young and talented producer from Valencia, Uranio Empobrecido. This track is the most electronic on the EP and possesses the undeniable sound of Detroit, evident in each and every one of the sequences used.

Silicon Scally, the alias of electronic music producer Carl Finlow, released his critically acclaimed album 'Mr Machine' in 2002 on SCSI-AV. The album was a masterful blend of electro and sci-fi soundscapes, showcasing Finlow's unique style and production prowess, which took the listener on a journey through a futuristic world of machines and technology. It ranks as one of the finest electro records of the early noughties.

Fast-forward to 2023 and Sync 24's Cultivated Electronics label is proud to present 'Mr Machine PT 2'. Like its predecessor, the new album is filled with intricate synth melodies, driving rhythms, and pulsating basslines, all perfectly balanced to create an immersive listening experience.

'Mr Machine PT 2' once again showcases Finlow's ability to not only create relentless beats for the dancefloor but also dynamic soundscapes that transport the listener to another world. Created using a mixture of both old analog gear and very modern plugins, both albums were written with a very strong emphasis on the machine aesthetic, reflecting the cutting edge of what was available at their respective times. Futuristic and timeless.

The fourth chapter of the Kri discography was conceived in the cold northern parts of Europe by a well-seasoned electro producer and Gravitational Waves label owner, Dj Nephil aka System Disorder.

Sharp electro-minimalism on the Horizon Rising EP is ranging from hypnotic and subtle to a punkish kick in the arse. Lush textures, bitter-sweet acid, and thick bass lines are looking past trends to create a lasting record. Adding extra weight to this polar electro voyage are remixes by two among our favorite producers, Alonzo (@alonzo902) and Univac (@univac-geistform). Univac's remix is available as a digital exclusive.

We are pleased to present a track "Cannibal Stars" by Zizerk.

Zizerk is a Brooklyn-based dj and producer from Spain. His productions and selections are characterized by emotive dark cuts of electro and breaks, seasoned with acid textures and occasional dips into jungle and UK bass. With a background in architecture and classical piano, he brings authenticity to his music through exciting avant-garde sounds. 
He is currently releasing music via Diffuse Reality, Fanzine Records (Spain), Micro Vision Recordings (Brooklyn) and collaborating on compilations with several NYC labels. His last release Melting Storm EP had a great response in the underground electro scene and made it to the best electro charts on various platforms on June 2022. 
Zizerk has been djing for more than 15 years and has developed a refined technique of mixing, always keeping the dance floor dynamic and evolving throughout the set. He’s had residences in several clubs, festivals and events, shared line-ups with established international artists and became the resident dj at the prominent electronic club in his home town. Since relocating to NY, he's performed in numerous clubs, radio shows and events.

The Advent (Cisco Ferreira) delivers his first full-length Electro album in 17 years.  Released this May on Sync 24’s burgeoning Cultivated Electronics label, ‘Life Cycles’ finds the past meeting the future.  Because, to get a truer feel for this new long-player, we should head back even further to a 1995 classic – The Advent’s debut album, ‘Elements Of Life’.  In fact, fans will recognise a nod to the original artwork of that seminal release, as ‘Life Cycles’ takes us full circle, containing unreleased Electro gems from the ‘90s, available for the first time.

“I have been making electro music for nearly 3 decades now and excited to see that it is in demand with this new wave of talented producers out there.  ‘Life Cycles’ is an album where I explore my older past and connect with the future, 2020 and this new electro generation,” says Cisco.

Ever since Cisco Ferreira discovered Acid House in the London clubs he frequented, his journey has been about making his mark on the electronic music scene.  Fresh from college he landed a job as assistant sound-engineer in several recording studios where he learned the art of translating feelings to frequencies, recording high profile artists from the world of Rock, Pop, Dance and Reggae.  When acid label, Jack Trax moved in next-door, Cisco started recording for the likes of Adonis, Fingers Inc, Marshall Jefferson and Derrick May.  These rendezvous sparked the inspiration for his first EPs on R&S and Fragile.  By 1994 Ferreira had signed a record deal for 12 EPs and 3 albums together with Colin McBean.  This was the beginning of an era during which the duo set a worldwide standard for high quality underground Electro and Techno.  They hit the world with a refreshing sound, both as The Advent, and G Flame (Cisco) and Mr G (the alias Colin still uses today).  Nowadays The Advent is a solo project for Cisco as he bombards crowds around the world with his trademark raw, energetic sound.

As much as The Advent is known for uncompromising Techno, so his Electro has been a huge influence for a lot of young Electro artists today (including his own son and sometime Electro collaborator, Zein) and when you listen to ‘Life Cycles’ you’ll understand why.  From the moment the beats kick in on track 1, ‘Music Is Life’ we’re met with full on Advent power.  The album explores classic old-school Electro vibes from the tough machine funk of tracks like ‘This Is Not’ and ‘Vast’ to the acid excursions on ‘Panda’, via some the ghetto boogie of ‘L.U.’ or ‘Stasis V2’.  And lest we forget what an amazing live performer The Advent is, there’s even the deeply hypnotic ‘Live@Motor 1998’.

Kerrie made her impressive Cultivated Electronics Ltd debut in July with ‘We
Continue Part 1’ which has grabbed the attention of media and DJs alike,
recently featuring in DJ Mag’s Staff Picks amongst other accolades. She now
returns in September for Part 2.

This Irish born, Manchester based DJ and producer has been rising in the
ranks since first joining the Eastern Bloc crew and over time has taken her
analogue live shows to the likes of Freerotation and The Warehouse Project.
2021 has also seen the launch of her label, Dark Machine Funk Recordings
(DMF).
