I am CRAG, I am a DJ, Hailing from Ellesmere Port depending on who you ask round my neck of the woods I love near Chester, others would say near Liverpool. Honestly its close enough to both and so there is good mix of scenes music wise, enough about that though; we're talking about me amd what i'm all about. From as far back as I can remember I have loved music; never studied it but nonetheless a fan, of all genres infact. My childhood consisted of having rock, metal, rnb, soul played to me at home and my grandparents played 50's and 60's cassette tapes  also my older cousins playing dance and indie, so I have an extensive knowledge across the decades and have so developed a DJ persona of which I CAN play you ¾ hours of electo dance but i'd much rather have a great seletion and be able to cater for whoever comes through the door; if the two lads on the pool table want some dance music but a group of metalheads walk a for a pint then i'll play the prodigy. If a girl asks for beyonce for her and her BFFs but the room is heavily favoured to the male species i'll make sure there is some lil wayne in ther or JayZ
I take my influences from professional artist that record music that isnt necessarily their natural genre; rappers workjg with a trance DJ, A metal band covering a pop song etc and it helps me as I can go into a gig and please the varity of people that go on nightsout
with experience in doing mobile disocs for a 70 year old and keeping everyone happy, alog with gigs covering in speciality bars such as Flares, Reflex and Babylon, helping out at local nights Djing between bands, also compiling my own nights in bars with set genres such as metal, i've spunk, old school dance I feel I am capable of doing a good job with any situation
right now i'm currently just brushing up on some skills and fine tuning my sets, going along to gigs out of town and watching/listening to the DJ; is he doing anything different? Could/should I do that? What didnt work for them, find out where they're getting that mix from etc.  I love using effects and samples and  i've now downloaded some studio software and started watching tutorial videos online to help me remix songs before I play them and i'm really enjoying myself doing all this
i'm looking to gain a residency or make enough of a name that I can travel and see the scenes across the country and then maybe the world
