1.真ッ黒ニナル過程(妄想同盟REMIX)

The work by an up-and-coming producer who made his major debut with Nippon Columbia's album "Mystic Islands Dub" in November 2023, exploring the possibilities of Okinawan folk songs and dub!

He gained attention with his work ``Shima DUB'' (2013), which was based on an old song from his roots in Ryukyu, and has released two 7-inch works to date, ``Oshima Yango-bushi'' and ``Sulukill Kuichar.'' The album “Mystic Islands Dub” was also completed immediately. Harikuyamaku is currently one of the most popular dub producers and is highly trusted as an engineer for Okinawa-based artists such as Yukino Inamine and Ododoafrobeat. This album contains 5 psychedelic to trancey dance tracks that are truly ``kachashi (stirring)'', where high-speed swirling sanshin meets deep electronic & dub.

I used the JC-303 synth bass and a free plugin called PolyMax synth.
I expressed “regeneration, budding, and changes in the atmosphere” through electro-dub.

いつもはダンス・ミュージックのDJが主軸ですが、この日は、セッションのイベントだったので、（自己）セッション的な感じのフリーフォームな内容です！
3CDJ、2TURNTABLEで、常に2つか3つ、最大4つの音源が同時に鳴っている、ほぼリズムなし、歌なし、の内容。
ちなみに、テンポをあわせて曲を繋ぐということもしておらず、じゃあ、なんなんだ、と、説明していて、自分でも思いますが、ダンス・ミュージックや、BGM～選曲的なもの（も、いつもやっていて勿論好きなのですが）、ではない、また別の方向で、DJの可能性を探るような試みです。
面白くできた気がするのでアップします。

Following a massive success in Japan with 2018’s Soul Time in Tokyo party, Aloha Got Soul offers its first collaboration with the independent Japanese record label Kakubarhythm for a summer-ready 12” of Hawaiian- Balaeric disco and soulful lover’s rock reggae.

At the 2017 Soul Time in Tokyo, Japanese disco-jazz- ska-dance band Your Song Is Good performed a stripped- down version of Babadu’s “We’re Not To Blame” with VIDEOTAPEMUSIC. For most cratediggers, Babadu’s ultra-rare 1979 Babadu! LP sits at the top of their Hawaiian soul and funk wantlist.

The group takes a playful, laid back approach to Babadu’s original tune with a two-part reggae version of “We’re Not To Blame” featuring Nick Kurosawa and VIDEOTAPEMUSIC in successive covers on the B-side.
First up is young Hawaiian soul singer Nick Kurosawa, lending his incredible talent for a buttery smooth vocal version.
