A panel discussion hosted by 596 Acres and the NYC Planners Network on the Past, Present and Future of Affordable Housing in New York City.

Planners Network NYC and 596 Acres will co-host a timely discussion on the state of the Mitchell Lama program, one of New York's most important and embattled affordable housing initiatives. Featured panelists will include Mitchell Lama residents, policy experts, and more.

The program was part of 596 Acres' month of events at the Queens Museum, entitled "Reviewing Urban Renewal." In addition to panels, workshops and film screenings, 596 Acres' residency will includes a presentation of all the urban renewal plans the City has ever adopted, overlayed onto the museum's famous "Panorama" - a scale model of the entire city's built environment.
