Mikey Bloom is a talented musician hailing from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada with Ethiopian roots. Growing up, Mikey was a star athlete, excelling in basketball, soccer, and hockey. His favorite athletes include Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Alexander Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Henry, and Ronaldinho. Although Mikey aspired to be a basketball player in his youth, he later gravitated towards music as a means of expression and storytelling.

Despite being a good kid, Mikey had a reputation as the class clown and often got into trouble in school. He also faced challenges at home after his parents split when he was 16, causing him to live with his mother and become the man of the house as a teenager.
