In her release 'The Feels' Ace of Demons emerges as a dark knight in a shining armour. Despite the playful arrangements of her tracks, ferocious dynamics lead the ultimate battle to begin. The hunger and the haunt that is the inner world of emotions. They are trying to take her down with a bass as strong as the natural force of a tsunami. It’s washing ashore a heavy heart that’s beating off the dust and coming back with a series of slapping beats ready for mortal combat. The tear of a warrior is burning up in the sky, leaving behind a glaring tale trying to reach home.

There are tracks that sound loud, and then there are those that detonate a mental dimension. “I’M A REAL PSYCHO” doesn’t just enter the dancefloor: it drags it, burns it down, and rebuilds it from its foundations. ROTURA XXL’s new release on CØRRUPT TRAX is a piece that stands as an absolute statement of raw Schranz, with no aesthetic concessions, no filters, no relief. It is pure, violent, and honest sound.

A descent into the industrial psyche

From the very first beat, the track asserts itself with a massive, dry, distorted, and saturated kick, hitting just hard enough to deliver aggression without confusion or muddiness. The structure is minimalistic yet tense, with mechanical percussion pounding like you’re trapped in a collapsing factory.

The title “I’M A REAL PSYCHO” is not decorative: it’s literal. The vocal sample — repetitive, distorted, dirty, and piercing — adds not only a sonic layer but creates an obsessive mantra that drags you deeper into the mental state the track aims to evoke. This is music that does not seek the dancefloor as mere entertainment but as a space of physical and psychological collision.

Technical production: between robotic and visceral

Technically, ROTURA XXL uses a raw palette, with simple elements — kicks, hats, distorted stabs, metallic atmospheres — each with a distinct character.
Nothing here is generic. Everything is calibrated to generate sustained tension: there is no melody, no harmonic relief. What there is, is hardness, repetition, suffocation, and release.

In the breaks, instead of softening, the intensity builds: layers of white noise, delays, and manipulated vocal fragments act as paranoid interludes before the beat slams back even harder.
The use of stereo space is minimal and deliberate, closing the mix as if the track wants to trap you inside a tunnel with no exit.

Context and function: where does this track fit?

"I’M A REAL PSYCHO” is not a background tune. It is an extreme tool for DJ sets that embrace sonic confrontation. It’s perfect for that point in a rave when there’s no turning back—when the dancefloor surrenders and is ready to go further.
It works as an opening statement if you want to make a direct impact, a turning point in an industrial techno set, or a violent closing for a session that intends to leave no one untouched.
This track converses with the most extreme Schranz pioneers of early 2000s Europe — Pet Duo, DJ Rush, Viper XXL, Mario Ranieri — but updated with textures and production that place it firmly in the new generation: raw, dirty, aggressive, and above all, authentic.

At a time when techno tends to dilute itself into safe formulas and superficial aesthetics, ROTURA XXL offers a radical proposition: making music that speaks from the gut, not from trends.
