I tend to usually let the music speak for itself, because I don't really like to explain the things behind the songs instead of letting people figure it out... I guess with this song, though, I just wanted to give my most transparent perspective into all the sides of being an artist of any type. 
It starts with a personal reflection of sorts and then expands into the tribulations that come with expressing yourself with a public platform.

I originally wrote this song in early 2015, but I didn't actually get the right instrumentation for it until around March of this year when my mentor, memorecks, came to visit LA & stayed at my place for a bit. We worked on music beforehand, but it was more or less just him teaching me how to make beats and whatnot when I was much younger. 

Reconnecting was an awesome experience, and him & I have some other things in the works as well, but overall the experience of having things come full circle, working with the people who originally helped me get started in the first place on an equal level, it was a very liberating experience.

I've gotten a lot more comfortable with my voice, and I think I'm finally ready to display my abilities & ideas, consistently, in the most unique routes I can take.
