real rave baby raised by OG club kids, from as early as i can remember - the presence of music was regarded with greater importance than food in the cupboards. while house music was the predominant genre for obvious reasons, the love was never exclusive thanks to my incredible mother who gave so much of her time to educating and exposing me to countless other genres, albums and artists she had come to know and love throughout her colourful life... this is reflected in my own extensive music taste and i now thoroughly enjoy returning the favour whenever i happen to stumble upon an artist or style of music she hasn't discovered yet herself... which is rare but does happen on the odd occasion. and while we don't always agree on the remarkability, we can always come back to our shared passion for house music. 
this passion is what fuels my love for djing, though it was only in recent years i finally found the push i needed to actually give it a go... (it was not only for lack of confidence but also because i have so many other interests and passions on the go at the same time so there is never enough time in the day.) anyway i purchased my first mixer and bound myself to it day and night until my back was screaming and my eyes were closing against my will... sure enough it paid off and i was soon smashing out mixes like a burger truck at 4am. greasy, messy and by no means perfect but with plenty of potential and substance. i could never focus when trying to follow YouTube tutorials so I started off basically teaching myself to remix my favourite tracks, using loops and effects and once I felt confident enough doing that, I then progressed to mixing. of course i still have loads to learn but i'm pretty proud of myself for how far i've managed to come without any help! having taught myself everything i know from the ground up - knowing nothing when i started and now at least being able to string together a decent 60min set. anyways hats off to you if you're still reading cause at this point im just rambling.... but thanks for sticking round! check out my stuff if you have the time, any feedback tips advice etc are absolutely welcome and encouraged!!
