In music, a drone is a type of accompaniment where a usually low note is continuously sounded throughout the whole piece. A drone provides a perfect foundation for improvisation, which is a soulful journey—an exploration of artistic freedom and expressiveness.

5 String Violin Meditation - Drone 1

40 Dreams is a dreamy downtempo piece that I am releasing for my 40th birthday. Throughout my life, I've mainly played the music of others, yet I've always felt that I have more to say. After studying music production for several years, I finally feel prepared to share my own musical stories. And even though it might seem unconventional trying to kick off an electronic music career at my age, by doing so I want to encourage myself and others to never hesitate to follow your dreams.

Music-wise, this track sums up many of my previous experiences, spanning different styles from country and folk to Middle Eastern music. Moreover, it marks the first time I've incorporated my own voice into a production. You can hear it following the first violin melody and again after the Middle Eastern section.

I hope you will like it, and I am already working on the next one!

Cabaret Cravache ft. 5 String Theory & Stav Goldberg

Composed for the 6th edition of Labyrinth: The Rites of Spring by the 1781 Collective, this piece was made to be played in a dark, cold cellar of the Musikbrauerei (Berlin). In line with the evening’s scenario, the audience moved between different rooms, each hosting a performance with symbolic meaning. This piece was created to embody transformation.

The piece utilises electric violin, Ableton Live, live looping, and various effects created with Ableton stock plugins and Guitar Rig 6 by Native Instruments.

Labyrinth 1781

It was the first live stream concert in the lockdown of spring 2020 and the second time this piece was performed in general. The very first time happened earlier, around February this year, at the Open Mic in Prachtwerk, but it wasn't recorded.   
It is played on octave violin with Ableton live.

The original Element C floats over the A-minor drone. This version is based on the A B D E chord. The original one starts and ends in minor while this version is framed by more of a major-like feeling, which creates even more contrast and tension with the middle part.

At the beginning there was Étude No.5 by Rodolphe Kreutzer. Later it got arranged for violin with five strings. Then one recording accidentally slipped over another and now you are listening to this track.
