Toby Simpson readies his debut release for Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with the three-track ‘Fulfilled Fantasy EP’.

Owner and resident at the Liverpool-based party Express, Toby Simpson’s music has picked up support from the likes of Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, and Marco Carola, even before dropping an official release. Now readying his first EP for Jones’ revered Hottrax imprint, the DJ/producer from Merseyside brings three bumping tracks. 

Across the release, Simpson draws for heavy low-end, skipping drums, and vocal chops for three club-ready tracks. From the trippy FX on ‘Feedback’, the rumbling basslines of ‘SuBBazz’, through to the mammoth samples on ‘Sugar’, the EP is a considered package sure to set dancefloors on fire all summer and beyond. 

“This EP means so much to me. Since day one Jamie has been my biggest idol. He is the main reason why I got hooked into this scene at such a young age, so for him to sign my music is beyond surreal. It’s a real honour to be a part of the label.” - Toby Simpson

UK tech house maestro @willtaylor-uk returns with another debaucherous underground banger made for sweaty late-night club sessions. No stranger to the limelight, Taylor has brought his uniquely powerful style of dance music to some of the biggest venues and festivals in the biz. Some highlights include his multi-summer residency at the revered Amnesia Ibiza, as well as successive appearances at We Are FSTVL and gigs at Studio 338, Tobacco Dock, Motion Bristol, and Soho Garden Dubai. One of the most prolific acts on the scene, Taylor has released music on such storied imprints as Elrow, Spinnin Deep, Repopulate Mars (Lee Foss' label), Hot Fuss, South Of Saturn, Glasgow Underground, Viva, Roush, Superfett, and NONSTOP. He has worked with Roland Clark, remixed Steve Lawler, and been remixed by John Summit. 'Saltshaker' is sure to get the crowd moving in any setting.

Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’ Hot Creations welcomes a loaded new EP as Andre Salmon, Michael Joseph and Lexlay collaborate across four tracks for their ‘Momii’ EP.

Home to stand-out collaborations such as Todd Terry and Riva Starr’s recent ‘This Is The Sound’ through to classics such as Jamie Jones and The Martinez Brothers’ ‘Bappi’, Hot Creations has always been a platform and label pairing unique and exciting artist combinations with impressive results. Closing July, the label now invites a stacked selection of artists for a big collaborative release as label signee Andre Salmon returns for his second release on the imprint and combines with
Orlando’s Michael Joseph and Barcelona’s Lexlay for their four-track ‘Momii’ EP - featuring Figio, Francis Davila and Cami Jones.

“As you may listen and feel, each song has a different groove, but all four songs perfectly balance nice techy and housey flavours to build an EP for the crowd and audience. All the tracks are improvisations. I love to share music and projects with my friends, which happened here. I sent something to Michael and Lexlay, while Figio’s and Francis Davila also sent me something - teamwork with friends is always dope! This release was inspired by the vocals, honestly. I wrote them all around the vocals, just jammin’ around and trying different stuff! This release means a lot to me because it is the second on Hot Creations, which is hard to get. I’m glad to be able to always talk with Jamie about my songs. Jamie has always inspired me and is always open to share feedback to see what’s the best for the release, so here’s to working towards a third!” - Andre Salmon.

The three main featured artists take the helm on the title track ‘Momii’ for a skippy and slick lead effort, while Salmon and Joseph link with Milan’s Figio’s for the snaking, percussion-driven ‘Aquarium’. Next, the three lead names unite once more and combine rumbling low-ends and lively hats on the bubbling ‘Left Hand’, before Salmon and Joseph once again link with fresh talent as Francis Davila joins the party, working warping synths and rolling drums around the alluring vocals of Cami Jones.

Milk & Sugar and Andrey Exx return with their first collaborative single ’Riding High’, out via Milk & Sugar Recordings.

For the next release on their own imprint, Germany’s favorite house music pair Milk & Sugar join forces with label fellow Andrey Exx to deliver the first terrace hit of the year, featuring the famous ’Pushing On’ sample from Quantic Soul Orchestra.
 
On their new recording entitled ’Riding High’ the trio are melting a whole arsenal of funky and hypnotic little sample bits with the infectious vocals of Alice Russell, building the roof for an ear-catching beat/bass foundation, made of shuffling hats and funky bass notes, resulting in a massive groove that’s readymade for the upcoming Summer season.
