In collaboration with ∄ and for its second birthday, Standard Deviation presents ’Vertex’ – a compilation of eight artists that contributed in shaping the sound of the Club over the course of the last year. A vertex is a point where several lines or objects meet and intersect with each other. It is synonymous to a node – a fundamental unit that consists of a set of edges that form a greater structure. The concept of a vertex is symbolic to both the Club’s and Label’s approach: connecting the dots between countercultures, bringing together local and international artists to form an inclusive dialogue

MILLA REN is a provocative project of a musician, pianist and DJ that revives the rave aesthetics of the 90s with its eclectic sets and the artist's own work, combining a wide range of genres - from steroid techno to airy trance and acid motives.
 He tries not to limit himself to a particular genre, exploring all electronic universes, and he managed to create a certain "touch", recognizable in his DJ sets, with the association between emotional synthesizers and colder sounds.  With an artistic line based on the expression of melancholy and intense emotion, his music can be characterized by the clash of love and hate, darkness and light.

On ‘Dreamer’ Maroki teams up with his studio neighbour across the water, Hypnøs. As canal-side neighbours in Amsterdam, the pair have nurtured a kindred spirit of melodious rave music which celebrates all the best parts of the past 30 years of dance music. Those influences come through in abundance here, from throbbing 303s to the urgent techno propulsion of the drums, all cast in the moody melancholy of the pads which give the track its entrancing vibe.
