Last year Steve confounded all expectations by launching the progressive and community driven Industrial Coast Tape (digital) Label which showcases groundbreaking and diverse music from around the globe

Shaun Galbraith aka Rumshack Steve, booker and resident to one of Glasgow's roughest monthly parties as well as the manager of Glasgow's number one Caribbean style dancehall and venue.

Focusing on reggae, dub and dancehall music as well as the influence of dub producers and techniques on other forms of music, these nights have seen guests such as General Echo Soundsystem, Dubplate Pearl, Bokeh Versions, Sisters of Reggae and Jagger (Supreme) rock the dancefloor.

This 1 hour mix draws from the influence of these parties and the imagined relationship between them and the sixeightsevensix range.

aka edv3ctor 
originally from an art & design background (printed textiles), ed currently describes himself as a vibe consultant & frequency resonator in a variety of situations & settings.
affiliated to the leeds DIY music and arts scene, he made his mark as a co- founder of the leeds based electronic and digital arts collective v3ctor. as part of this cooperative, ed has performed, promoted & curated a host of events, representing artists and organisations of local, regional, national and international repute.
djʼing and selecting music from his ever-growing archive of sound, ed has been entertaining & educating for twenty plus years. through his numerous residencies, self promoted events, guest appearances and radio programmes for Kmah radio [social schemata] & NTS live, his eclectic and adventurous forays in sound join the dots between numerous genres and locations.
as part of the trio Hannas Barber he has produced and released music via Dalriada and Instant Action Object, his more recent releases include cassette mixtapes for MEDS and Industrial Coast. he is currently collaborating w/ Freddie Rickets aka Sourpuss producing club based tracks and soundscapes for video & art installations.
he is interested & inspired by sample based musics that emerged out of the ‘energy flashʼ that occurred in late 80ʼs-early 90ʼs UK and itʼs connection w/ the sound system culture of his Jamaican heritage.
one of his proudest achievements thus far was taking part in a live remix performance of Poulencʼs ‘litany of the black madonnaʼ, commissioned by Opera North & performed w/ the v3ctor collective on consecutive nights in the crypt at Leeds town hall. 
in short edv3ctor is an audio sponge and percussion obsessive who appreciates all the frequencies.

Edv3ctor :

A young historian and educator enthusiastic about music and fashion. Coming from a background of subculture. I’m keen on exploring the connections between the different dimensions of the past and present subcultural reality, from the inside and from the outside. Captured in a number of articles for fanzines and magazines, as well as a paper for the prestigious Culture & History Digital Journal. I collect records of many sorts but I have special weakness for Jamaican sounds from the 60’s and 70’s.

“I shall fear no evil” is a mixtape for 6876. A fine selection of timeless early reggae, rocksteady and ska classics. Mixed and recorded in mono at home (E8) during isolation with strictly vinyl from my personal collection.
