Bendtsen returns to Shadow Wulf with his latest EP, “Energy”. The EP contains 2 captivating original techno tracks, “Energy” and “Imposter” with Bendtsen’s signature “dialogue style” - part of the track that is unfinished like a phrase, and another that accompanies an “answer”.  On the tack, Bendtsen’s question-and-answer methodology will incorporate lead sounds and driving bass arps underneath that will push everything forward. 

Also included on the release are two remixes from fellow Denmark producer Neumann, and a collaborative remix from French producer Inphasia and Data Groove. This will be the first release on Shadow Wulf for all of the aforementioned remix producers.

The entire EP has pre-orders available and releases Friday, May 27th.

Dean Pierre Strasser aka Fonclair, from a Madagascan mother & a Luxembourgish father, is a Luxembourg born & based, artist, electronic music producer, composer, Dj & member of the Luxemburg based label Lauter Unfug & Berlin based Fehler Musik. His Grandparents founded the famous "Café des Artistes" in Luxembourg, which is still a hotspot today for their "unique" popular piano bar ambiance. As music was a natural element in his home, while growing up; Through his mother's love for house & Madagascan music & his father's love for The Rolling Stones & the Beatles, he grew aware of music's influence on our cultures. Especially after long stays in Rome & Lagos ( Nigeria) in the early til' the late 90s. During which he couldn't help notice the tribal music from Nigeria that, like in Techno & House music, carries this insatiable will for dancing and liberate one's mind.

His older brother introduced him to synthesizers and analogue hardware and so the love for electronic music started.

Fast forward: in 2015 he was awarded by the LNA (Luxembourg Nightlife Awards), the 1st prize as best DJ in Luxembourg.

He was then chosen to compose a sound fiction for THE PROMISES OF MONSTERS, a Speculative Fiction composed of nine individual pieces of art created by Laura Mannelli, which was in exposition for four months at the famous Galerie L'indépendance in Luxembourg BIL Bank HQ.

2018 he created "Hush" alongside Acasual & De Jesus. A label/collective which is aimed on the organic effect of music on human beings -> Hush, let her speak.

He same year he also joined the FHLR family and finally his EP "Advanced Prayers" has arrived.

As we embrace diversity at Fehler Musik, this release is a deep minimal techno five-tracker. Each track comes with something unexpected and keeps the listener attached to the story. Perfect for after hours, about when the sun comes up ...

Picking up where 2018's debut album left off, Pleasurekraft continue their foray into the Cosmic Techno sub-genre they ushered into the dance music lexicon, with their new LP "Love in the Age of Machines."
Arriving exclusively on Spotify initially on April 10, with other streaming platforms to follow a week later, Pleasurekraft had one of  the biggest tracks last year on Drumcode with their remix for Adam Beyer's 'Space Date,' always bring forward thinking grooves embellished with astral melodies and spaced out synths that make for emotional as well as physical experiences. 
"Love in the Age of Machines" is in no short supply of the sonic signatures the production duo have become known for, and there is a clear maturation at work here.  The album's non-techno tracks showcase an artistry rarely seen in conventional dance music and techno in particular. From the gritty dystopian future that establishes the album's themes at the onset in "Last Sapien", to the dark, rainy, urban-lit textures that form the spine of "Nostalgic for the Future", there is a sense of impending self-wrought catastrophe, tempered with a sense of wonder of all that is, and all that could be if humanity somehow overcomes its hubris. 
Things get more intense and turbulent on "Panopticon (The Patron Saint of Global Surveillance)" [ft. Thomas Gandey] before the voyage to the edges of our galaxy continues on "I Sing the Body Electric" & "Main Sequence" which keep up the enthralling techno atmospheres with increasing pressure, before the tension is released with the cinematic grandeur of "Novacene." Two more hard hitting bangers in "At the Mountains of Madness" and "Primordial" then rebuild the all consuming techno mood before you're left adrift in the cosmos with the album's swan song "Requiem For the American Dream."
As Kaveh Soroush of Pleasurekraft puts it, "Without sounding too reductionist, humans are simply a bundle of biochemical algorithms with a few holes at either end, who mistake their sensory experiences as objective, and their sense of self as something concrete, when in fact science reveals to us with each new finding that our basic intuitions about reality and the world around us have not evolved much from our first ancestors, who just wanted to make sure not to get eaten for long enough to feed and procreate on the African savannah. While there are certainly wonders about the Cosmos we have discovered given our enlarged frontal lobes, and technologies that we've invented dating back to when the first tool was built thanks to an opposable thumb, we haven't been the best custodians of the only planet that can sustain us, and history makes it abundantly clear that our wisdom lags far behind the technological advancements we develop with each new day."

Despite the overtly pessimistic tone, ultimately there is a sense of potential change on the horizon. That perhaps a species which has come up with abstract ideas of love, justice, liberty, and created works of immense artistic and scientific beauty, might just find a way to correct course before it's too late. This sense of wonder is on full display on "The Occupant" and the potential seed for our enlightenment is planted in "Corpse Reviver Number 3", a track brimming with homages to the love of philosophy and its place in navigating a more examined life.  
Ultimately "Love in the Age of Machines" feels like a dystopian sci-fi soundtrack written for optimists who want to change humanity's looming fate.  While still firmly rooted in the techno genre, the album evokes themes and ideas that are universal to the human experience and our place in the Cosmos, and it is this aspect of the album that makes "Love in the Age of Machines" such a rewarding musical experience.  It's techno that is at once accessible and intelligent, a combination rarely heard in today's endless sea of dance music.

Body Music is exactly the term I would use to describe Techno Music. It is music one has to experience! A club is the perfect environment for this experience as it provides a certain atmosphere where everybody comes to do the same thing: Dance! Besides, the experience becomes even greater when there is a powerful sound system that cary the heavy load of this genre. I fell in love with it 10 years ago, and I'm still loving it. I would say: Listen to the track yourself and see if my words really capture what the track is telling you.

Shadow Wulf Records is thrilled to present Misfit from German producing partners Anina Owly and Thomas Klipps. Misfit features 2 original tracks -- Misfit / Lower Back -- with 3 remixes from Paul Neary and Shadow Wulf label-bosses Crescendoll and Drew Blyther. Misfit is Anina and Thomas’s second EP together, and the title track “Misfit” and “Lower Back” will make for their 10th and 11th tracks together. These two are a great partnership, in music and in life. Both have their own distinct sounds in the dark minimal community that lends to their collaborative style. Anina is known for doing all her own vocals which lends to a distinct originality in the tracks. “Lower Back” was created after a trip to Iceland with Thomas´s family where his father complained of back pain saying in German, "I don´t know what´s wrong with me, my lower back is killing me”, which sparked inspiration in Anina. The words sounded so entertaining in English, Anina began singing these words over and over the whole trip. Most of Anina´s vocals originate with stories like this.
