Michel Lauriola is a Venezuelan producer and DJ based in Buenos Aires (Argentina). The city's electronic scene has witnessed his evolution over the years, resulting in a very rhythmic and deep techno artist. After 20 years of career, Lauriola has become a well-known producer and has edited for labels such as: Faut Section, Materia, Polegroup / Aine, Gynoid, Children of Tomorrow, Suara, Out of Place, Blackrod, Animal Farm and more.

The ep has already received support from artists such as A Thousand Details, Dimi Angelis, Kangding Ray, Slam, Sven Wittekind, Vinicius Honorio, etc.

Celebrating 10 years of existence with a statement, Berlin’s GEGEN is releasing a solid 3-part compilation, grounding their work of the past decade into the newly founded label’s sonic aesthetic by showcasing the artists that have been at the heart of the infamous party series. This VA is a bundle of 30 tracks hailing from the true ride-or-die residents at the core of the project to the headliners whose support have propelled the collective from day one as well as up-and-coming artists that Gegen takes to heart to support.

Curated with our love for techno’s history of diversity in mind, this release travels through different subgenres and BPM and takes you from classic techno to industrial, hardcore to breakbeat, deconstructed to acid. We recognize that now is a difficult time in society across the globe and especially to our dance music community where the impact is still unknown, however because of this, we believe it is more important than ever to share a common bond and a love for techno.

Hidden proves again its strength in consistency and quality with another hard-hitting four-track EP by label boss, Deepak Sharma. 

The release is tough, gritty, dark and reflective of both the times we live and the artist involved: Deepak Sharma’s heavy, rolling and sobering originals are paired with a somber, powerful remix with subtle movements by Psyk.

The EP begins with "Veil of Secrecy" [045HR], its darkness bubbling up from the depths of a strong bass groove, loaded with rich textures and quirky shifts.  Psyk offers his hypnotic trademark on the remix, a stripped down feeling with skillful changes to provoke the mind.

Argentina-based label West Rules continue their superb output with a new VA titled Alien Connections VII that includes tracks from a wealth of upcoming talent.

Standing out amidst the eleven tracks included is the highly rated Pyramidal Decode from Italy, who has released music on quality labels such as Edit Select Records, Abstract Division’s Dynamic Reflection, Fernanda Martins’ Devotion and Vegim’s TMMR.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Atr” with a sinister mood and twisted sounds. A stabbing and muted synth rides through a spacey, analogue atmosphere, allowing tension to build into two powerful waves of satisfying climaxes.

Leipzig’s DJ, producer & label owner Oliver Rosemann is no stranger to the MindTrip world. Following his debut ‘Intermediate World EP’ back in 2019 and two collaborative releases with head honcho Pfirter, he returns with his second personal work on our label called ‘The Machinist’. Oliver’s new 4-track EP is inspired by the sounds of the machines in a psychologically thrilling setting in an old movie. He used a modular case, mostly Roland 909 drums and the Elektron Digitone and most parts of the tracks were recorded live and rearranged in Ableton Live.

	The wait for Oliver’s return on MindTrip has been worth it as these four high octane tools are what’s missing in a dark, sweaty night environment.

LITTLEFISH is an emerging artist from Lille (FR) who enriches the local scene with her immersive, hypnotic sound. In her sound design, minimalist rhythms meet unusual and unsettling sounds, immersing the listener in a universe with a distinctive and unique identity. She channels her emotions and feelings through music that is influenced by the sea and its changing moods.

Duniz Sound is characterised by percussive elements, groovy basslines and hypnotic sounds. He has released on a variety of labels, such as Sbert Rec. E-Hrzn, Codein, Naked Lunch Records and many others. With his label Equal, he is always on the lookout for new musical experiences and actively seeks to shape the scene as a producer, DJ and label owner.
On EQUAL009, the individual hypnotic excursions complement each other to form one big journey.
