Paris’ dc11 is back on data roaming records with a solo ep this time. Three original tracks and a remix by Jacobworld. Hello Sunshine is a full forward loop that takes no time to bring you up to speed, raspy and punchy. Deep is all rolling bass and has a subaquatic edge to it while still remaining forceful and dancefloor oriented. The EP’s title track is a mostly percussive affair, summoning the mighty power of the drum machine with reverbs breathing in and out for added atmosphere. Finally, Jacobworld’s remix of Deep makes you want to plunge head first into the night, managing to up the pressure from the original track while making it even… deeper.

Slam presents a brand new series of carefully curated VA’s on home label Soma.

Aimed at showcasing exciting, emerging artists "Exhibit" aims to channel techno's fundamental frequencies as Slam seek out the rawer, deeper end of the spectrum with selected artists, focussing on the deeper and hypnotic sound of techno.

Packing in 8 tracks across this first release, Slam open with title track ‘Exhibit 1’ a deep, sub heavy and electrifying roller. Newcomers Mist Gasp are up next with the suitably trippy Final Return followed by the pairing of Confluence & Von Tee Rah who pack in a lot of attitude with Unit 1. Brazilian producer Marcal steps up with the groove laden Tombstone, quickly followed by Berlin’s Denise Rabe who treads a darker path with the driving, Walking On Borders. Another Berlin based pairing, Angioma & BLANKA, serve up the crafty Tricky Sunday before James Bong drops the fast paced yet minimalistic and melodic Roses 101. Closing out the release is Glasgow based producer Tremor who has been making waves in his home city with his on point, minimal sound and his track, A Moment, sums ups his style perfectly.

02. IGLO & Paul Hauck - Red Fantasy

Part 1 of the Unissued Series is the start of a series of releases that focuses on releasing older projects as well as new projects that I am working on in the studio. The idea behind this self-release series is to give my music a platform to speak for itself, both in terms of my creative output and artistic vision. 

One of the main motivations behind this concept was to take back more control of how I truly want to represent myself as an artist. In art, oneself, as the artist, is and should be one's biggest critic as well as one's biggest admirer or fan. In the end, creating art, for me at least, is a form of pure self-expression. By taking more control over my creative output, I seek to further engage in the relationship I have with myself and create the space necessary for further musical exploration. 

Unissued Series Part 1, marks the first of many self releases coming this year. Ranging from straight forward techno cuts to experimental ambient pieces.

Dustin Zahn returns to James Ruskin's label with the follow-up to his 2021 Blueprint debut "Hand Over Control" (BP061).  "Temporary Vandalism EP" features four new Techno jams from the Enemy Records head.

Since 1998, Dustin Zahn's work has put his career on a steady ascent.  Along the way, he has gained years of experience and unrivalled musical diversity as both a producer and performer, earning him respect among techno and house legends, purists, and contemporary DJs.  He performs regularly around the world and his DJ sets are much like his releases.  "I like it dark enough for the boys, but groovy enough for the girls", says Zahn.  With a preference for marathon sets and his laid-back approach to life and music, he seamlessly traverses through various genres to create a unique, hypnotic vibe.  As a producer, his releases on labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, CLR and his own Enemy Records have brought him international success.  And his remixes for the likes of Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Green Velvet, Dubfire, Nic Fancuilli, Mark Broom, Joel Mull and more have helped catapult him into the collections of DJs everywhere.

Unissued Series Part 2 consists of 3 tracks with varying vibes and atmospheres, united by their distinct yet driving low ends.

Often times when preparing for a mix or club night I put a lot of focus on the low ends of tracks, as I see it as the prime mover of ones body. The natural progression of these various low end forces is something I like to pay particular attention to, especially in a club environment. The mid and high end characteristic of tracks is what lets me disconnect on a mental level. Ranging from repetitiveness madness to emotional atmospheres, these 3 tracks have the ability to draw you in physically while letting go mentally.
