We're proud to present a brand new edition of our monthly podcast series. Each month an artist who is somehow connected to the Cinematique label will get a chance to inspire and share his or her vision on good music during the one hour show of Cinematique Visions. For our first show of 2024 we are glad to have Rustboy on board. ABOUT RAAVN:

Raavn is a veteran DJ and music producer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He is renowned for his ability to warm up crowds around the world and has been booked across the globe from China to Americas. 

Well-known for his ability to build atmosphere and bring energy to any event, highly sought after for his ability to craft unique and effective sets. A major proponent of the Burning Man culture and a leader in the regional community curating lineups for various regional Burns.

Raavn has recently embraced a new chapter in his life, stepping into the role of a father. In light of this significant life change, he has decided to take a hiatus from the event side of things. However, he eagerly anticipates returning to the realm of music production in the near future.

Reflecting on his recent journey, Raavn shared, "Not a long time ago, I promised myself to treat my music as a gift." This commitment to viewing his craft as a precious offering has had a profound impact on his creative process. Taking a break from the pressures of events and performances, Raavn found joy in crafting his contribution to Progsonic Sessions. The absence of external expectations allowed him to infuse his work with a renewed sense of enjoyment and authenticity.

‘Our Plastic family is ever growing from artists all over the world in true Plastic tradition. So today we premier ‘Inger’ Hailing from Warsaw, Poland, Inger’s journey into the world of progressive house began in the early 2000s, when his childhood friend handed him a DJ mix that would change everything: John Digweed’s Nighttown set, recorded live in Rotterdam. Featuring unforgettable tracks from artists like Cass & Slide, the mix lit a fire that’s been burning ever since.

Inger’s latest track, “Wawa,” is inspired by those formative clubbing years—specifically the sweat-soaked, euphoric nights spent raving in the heart of Warsaw. The original is a deep, sharp-edged groover that slowly unfolds with subtle tension and hypnotic textures.

The remix comes from James Harcourt, a standout figure in the global progressive scene and a source of inspiration to a whole generation of producers. His version takes “Wawa” into peak-time territory—a driving rework already supported by Sasha during his unforgettable B2B with John Digweed at Tofte Manor.

The package is completed with a Sean Harvey remix which is a chunky, dark-room groover that builds tension and atmosphere while delivering irresistible dancefloor energy in the true Sean Harvey spirit.
