all recordings were done in my parents' closet 

exceptions: the water in "almost drowning" was the Fox River in November 2015, and the last 30 seconds of "and the only thing you can do is continue" were recorded in my room a few days before the last day of 2015

recordings were done using a saxophone, a looping pedal, my voice, and the Fox River
