Harae

Harae is an experimental electronic track inspired by the Japanese ritual of purification.
Rather than functioning as a song in the conventional sense, it unfolds as a sonic process—an act of cleansing through repetition, texture, and restrained intensity.

The composition is built on minimal, mechanical rhythms and gradually evolving noise layers. These elements mirror the idea of harae: removing impurities not by force, but through steady, intentional motion. There is no dramatic climax; instead, tension is maintained in a controlled, meditative state.

Influenced by industrial techno, ritual music, and abstract sound art, Harae exists between the physical and the spiritual. It invites the listener into a liminal space—where rhythm becomes a tool, and sound becomes an act.

This track is part of an ongoing exploration of ritual, symbolism, and the body within contemporary electronic music.

Death Trap showcases the EP’s more melodic and immersive side, with atmospheric vocals and delicate, beautifully crafted leads. The track balances vulnerability and high energy, drawing listeners in while creating its own captivating world.

Hypnotic Vision reveals the darker side of the EP. With a more intense, shadowy, and driving atmosphere, it’s perfect for creating striking moments on the dancefloor or taking listeners on a deep, hypnotic journey.

6thFloor is a French DJ and producer of underground techno and acid waves since 2012. Coming from the free party movment with the sound system Euphorik, he decided in 2018 to create his own vinyl label Synthetic Line Records with Level5. He has also produced tracks for Oxymor, Advise, Volkane, PointZero, ChronoZone and Reustlab. Since 2021, he is programmer and organizer of the festival Zouav'Fest.

Through his travels around the world, 6thFloor played at Bogotrax, Locombia, Tropical Wave, Aluna Ritual (COL), Tribunion (MEX), House of Chapora (Goa, IND), Fora de Tempo, Atman Tribe (POR), Universo Paralello (BR), BreakFest, Free Connection (CZ), Sektor Evolution (DE) but also at Zouav'Fest, Funky Freaky, Festifl'Art, Okami, Ethereal Decibel and Son Libre (FR).

Among all its different gigs he notably played alongside artists as Kaufmann, Carbon, Peter Groskreutz, Ash Roy, Maksim Dark, Breger, Sonico, Midilink, Nelio, Mik Izif, Suburbass, Chris Liberator, Audioflow, 69db, Miss Tick, Melusine, Tilda, Mamz'Hell or Logic LFO. He also has a B2B techno project with his best friend Spootnik called: Stellar Brothers.
