My closing set from a recent edition of Peace.Luv.House.  Recorded by Smitty's wonderful standing mic/recorder on May 4, 2013.  The recorder was placed at the edge of the decks, so the recording would be similar to what you'd hear if you were shrunk into an inch-sized version of yourself and were dancing next to the incense burner at the edge of the gear table.  The crowd chatter and revelry actually contribute a good impression of what it's like to be on the dancefloor at this monthly event in Buffalo, NY.  This particular edition featured our host Bflo Lydia and our guest, Rochester's James Revival. You can hear James being 'interviewed' by our friend DJ Twist, while I'm mixing my first track in.  Twist also provides us with some post-mix comic relief.  So bear with the reduced clarity & increased crowd noise, and enjoy 74 minutes of an underground house music party in Buffalo.  Provided you're not in a moving vehicle, get up from your seat ,dance, and clap with the crowd...or perhaps roll one up and pretend like you're listening to a newly traded-for Phish bootleg!

Most terrifying was closing for DJ Craze at a multi-venue fest downtown in ‘08 armed only with a deep house set I was supposed to play 5 hours earlier at another spot.  Cool to plays after Craze, but epic fail on keeping that crowd going!  😂
