My Heart

Another track I made using Ancore – Uplifting Vocal Trance pack with quite a few changes to MIDI and the vocal arrangement.

This one is from their MIDI pack called Calypso and is in A# minor which is quite a harsh key.

Man, this dude's MIDI is mind blowing. Took days to pull out the instruments and there's still more to be done. There is no layering of instruments whatsoever and the vocals need a massive amount of processing (used his dry version).

It's been a while since last making a track... I spent WAY too much time making trance only which had too many elements for my novice ears to mix and it all went to sh*t... it felt somewhat like polishing turds and I ended up confused, burnt-out and disinterested in music production.

A long break later and plenty of reflection, I'm trying to focus on creating fewer sounds that are cleaner and aren't fighting for frequencies and stereo width. It would be nice to move away from trance but for now it's all I know.

The tune is 128bpm and was meant to be house but ended up rather trancey. The MIDI chords are from Metta & Glide Signature Pack.
