In this week's episode we are blessed to bring you a journey and spiritual experience by master storyteller and co-founder of The Odyssey:  our dear brother and friend Dirlasion!

Dirlasion hails from Thessaloniki, Greece and is Co-founder of The Odyssey Music Podcast. He has been mixing amazing tunes in wild and beautiful ways for the past 20 years that he has been in the industry.

His storytelling sets takes us on a journey to continents with diverse cultures, and he has a hold on several genres like electronic, psychill, ambient, organic house, and of course  downtempo, which he is a true master of.

In his journey for us, he brings us the simple sounds of the country and city from the ethnic perspective and then unfolds the sounds in lush, otherworldly visions.  He bends time and space to bring the listener to the moment of illumination and pure freedom in the spirit, where one's soul listens best, attuned to the deepest, purest vibrations and most dynamic energy.  Whether a cool breeze or hot fire, the temperature is just right and feelings clear and radiating from the root of self.  This is the heart and soul of The Odyssey. 
 You will see once you hear.  Dirlasion's set is a vision-filled prayer.  There are no further or better words to describe it.

Since 2021, I have been honored to be a part of the Love Foundation family, a journey that has significantly boosted my personal development. At the beginning of this year, I made the hard decision to quit my job because I felt a void where my dreams once were. Life's path is far from linear, and finding my own dream is an even steeper climb. Yet, amid the ups and downs, a consistent lesson stayed: the importance of putting your happiness and well-being as the top priority.

In this journey of self-discovery, I stumbled upon my love for music and the deep, authentic connections it creates. The vibrancy of events, parties, and festivals, where music becomes a glimpse of hope weaving people together. This is where my heart finds its rhythm and my eyes light up with childlike wonder and joy. These gatherings don't merely spark joy in me; to me they trigger a sense of belonging, a feeling of being a part of a larger, collective dream of a better world. They sometimes serve as beacons, breaking through the gloom to remind us that the world is not always as bleak as it may seem.

Amidst the turbulence of unemployment, heartwarming festivals, engaging parties and moments of mental crises; I have managed to juggle multiple endeavours, among other things co-organizing a small festival and the Glacis Open Air "Love Forest" Love Foundation stage. The past two months have been an emotional rollercoaster that show no signs of slowing down. Yet, even in the most bleak moments, I often catch glimpses of hope and joy, reminders of why it's worthwhile to stay engaged in this beautiful, chaotic dance of life. This is the essence of the Glacis Open Air, all of the other wonderful experiences and all the remarkable individuals and new friends I have been fortunate enough to encounter in the last two months.

I feel privileged for being able to open the very stage that I helped organize and I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Love Foundation Magdeburg. Thank you for entrusting me with such a responsibility and for making me a part of this incredible journey. And I very much hope that I have done justice to this with this set.

Streaming Session set by "Les Fines Herbes" on 23.05.2020

This set played during the "Arborescence 2" dance day in Lausanne (CH) is a reminder of the sun, the exchange, the love that the public can share during an afternoon of dance!

I had a lot of fun sharing this with a Dance Floor that was at its maximum. The smiles of all these people make this set even more wonderful to listen to. Some tracks have been played in my previous bookings, they are so good to listen to that I had to put them back on the "Arborescence" Dance Floor.

Afternoon in the colors, I dreamed of such a moment and this moment it was "Les Fines Herbes" who gave it to us!

I hope you will enjoy this music. Naturally more relaxing than a set played at night, it helps you wake up and heat up naturally!

De 1995 à 1997, DJ Sleepy a parcouru les plus grandes scènes de Suisse "rave party" avec le collectif Hardcore Cybermind du label Genevois Toxic rec. Plusieurs vinyles édités sous ce label ont été joués sur les plus grandes scènes internationals "happy hardcore" notamment avec le titre SubGabba édité sur d'autres labels comme Mokum Rec ou sur la compilation "Rave Parade 4".

Dès 1997 Il est l’un des fondateurs de Deltaforce, pionniers des organisateurs d’événements Goa Trance en Suisse Romande. 

Depuis 2003 les choix de ses sets aux sonorités Chillout psychédéliques et Psyprog vous entraînent dans un voyage mélodique et rythmique rafraichissant !

Rêveur dans l'âme, découverte après découverte, ses sélections aux sonorités nouvelle... Progressive Psybient, DubChill, Trance et Deep Techno vous font naviguer entre les vagues de mélodie psychédélique.

From 1995 to 1997, DJ Sleepy toured the biggest stages of Switzerland “rave party” with the Hardcore collective Cybermind of the Geneva label Toxic rec. Several vinyls published under this label have been played on the biggest international stage, “happy hardcore” including the SubGabba title published on other labels like Mokum Rec or on the “Rave Parade 4″ compilation.

In 1997 he is co-founded Deltaforce events, one of the pioneers of psytrance events organization in French part of Switzerland.
 Since 2003 his sets are psychedelic and psy-prog chillout sounds, leading you on a melodic and refreshing rhythmic journey !
Since 2017 Sleepy playing also Deep Techno set !

Evolving in electronic music since 1995, Thierry starts by producing different pieces of happy hard core music and performs with the name Cybermind at a very young age. After listening to different styles, from Chillout music to Trance Goa, he then focused on a more harmonious universe. 

After almost 20 years of development with DJ Sleepy in Chillout, Thierry launches into Deep House, Organic and Deep Techno music with his 72 Degrees concept. Launched in summer 2019, he joins the collective "Les fines herbes", a small collective freshly born and based in French-speaking Switzerland. He also produces under the label Moonloop rec.

DJ 72 Degrees' performances are constantly constructive, always challenging the listener with subtleties of groove and hypnotic melody. This is more than just a well-oiled electronic music machine. Drawing on his own experiences, he knows that it is the coming together of differences that breeds creativity. That's why, in the future, he will build his new world through 72 Degrees, constantly showing his willingness to perfect his sets through his choice of evolving and creative sounds by playing his favourites artists, both known and unknown. He may have been in the electronic music business for almost 30 years, but the real mission of 72 Degrees has only just begun.
