Lars Huismann returns to Mutual Rytm as he delivers the second installment of his ‘Sounds From The Past’ trilogy on the label.

This is B1 ‘Loucura’ from Sounds From The Past II EP on Mutual Rytm, bringing a percussive workout with frantic organic drums and resonant brass melodies. Fully party-ready.

01 Burden - Althea's Riot (Original Mix) 

SR002 is the second chapter of Burden' Self-release series. 

"Althea's Riot" was produced during summer 2020 after playing for the first time in Greece. 
Althea is a quiet beach located 30km south of Athens, surmounted by an abandoned hotel composed of a terraced concrete structure overlooking the sea. 
It was the most beautiful place to throw a rave and It was such an amazing experience being able to play my music there in the early hours of the morning. 

The loopy overwhelming bassline in opposition to the bright granular chords aim to recreate the atmosphere of that morning, the 4/4 pounding groove with a joyful vibe.
