κατάμαυρη είναι η μοναξιά.

Το τρένο αυτό που σε ξερίζωσε
μου σκίζει πάντα την καρδιά
το σφύριγμά του είναι για μέ λυγμός
το πέρασμά του είναι καημός.

Ήμουν για σένα ο διαβάτης που περνά
ήσουν για μένα το νερό και η φωτιά.

Σε κράτησα μέσα στα χέρια μου
σα νά ‘σουνα μικρό πουλί
με την αυγή γλυκοκελάηδησες
το δειλινό είχες χαθεί.

Κι εγώ στα δάση τώρα τριγυρνώ
μετρώ τα κίτρινα κλαδιά
μετρώ τα φύλλα που ξεράθηκαν
την άμετρη μετρώ ερημιά.

Dieser Zug, der dich entwurzelt hat
zerreißt mir total das Herz
sein Pfiff ist für mich ein Schluchzer
seine Abfahrt bedeutet Kummer.

Ich war für dich der Passant, der vorüberging
du warst für mich Wasser und Feuer.

Ich hielt dich in meinen Händen
als wärst du ein kleiner Vogel
in der Morgendämmerung hast du ganz süß gesungen
in der Abenddämerung warst du weg.

Und ich treibe mich jetzt in den Wäldern herum
zähle die gelben Zweige
zähle die vertrockneten Blätter
ermesse die unendliche Wüste.

Byłeś dla mnie wodą i ogniem.

Trzymałam cię w moich rękach,
jak byłbyś małym ptakiem.
O świcie słodko zaśpiewałeś,
o zmierzchu zniknąłeś.

A ja włóczę się teraz po lasach.
Zliczam żółte gałęzie.
Zliczam uschnięte liście.
Odmierzam niezmierzoną pustkę.

Adam Hurst - The Shallows

A piece with a fascinating history. It was originally attributed to 18-th century composer Albinoni and supposedly discovered by 20-th century biographer Rema Giazotto. Later it was revealed that Giazotto had found only a small segment of the opening melody and chord structure and it is now believed he wrote most of it himself. 
However it was written, it is a hauntingly beautiful but melancholy piece. This arrangement by Jason Waldron, and performed by William Wilson. More on william at Facebook.com/wmwilsonguitar .
