Post-Atlantic, post-Wink, a trip back to the first EP - sez Greg Kot, "...if there were doubts about Eleventh Dream Day's status as a can't-miss live band, a local treasure with a body of work spanning eight years, they were quickly incinerated. With Yo La Tengo's Ira Kaplan filling in for O'Bannon, Monday's performance was an event. Rizzo and Kaplan had only a couple of days' rehearsal, but from the opening "History of Brokeback" their synergy electrified the room." Kid Condo and the Condo Fucks would bust LizBeth out 16 years later during the EDD "Riot Now" residency at the Hideout.
