이본은 대한민국 서울 출생의 작곡가로, 1996년에 태어났다. 그녀는 추계예술대학교에서 작곡을 전공하고 피아노와 전자음악을 부전공으로 공부했다.
다수의 국제 음악 축제에서 작품을 발표했다. 2020년에는 범음악제(Fanmusic Festival)에서 작품을 발표했고, 국제컴퓨터음악제(Seoul International Computer Music Festival)에서도 작품을 선보였다. 또한, 2023년 예술의전당 교향악축제에서(SAC Symphoney Festival Contest) 작품 위촉 작곡자로 선정되어 그녀의 첫번째 심포니 작품인 <Cusco? Cusco! for Orchestra!>가 예술의전당 콘서트홀에서 초연되었다. 
이본은 삼성, 현대, 롯데, 기아 대기업들을 포함한 다양한 기업들과 광고음악을 제작한 경력을 보유하고 있으며, 창작국악그룹 달려운과 협업하여 2023년 달려운콘서트에서 국악작품을 발표했다.

Bon Lee is a composer born in Seoul, South Korea in 1996. She majored in composition with a minor in piano and electronic music at Chugye-Art University.
Bon has presented her works at various international music festivals. In 2020, She showcased her compositions at the Fanmusic Festival and the Seoul International Computer Music Festival. In 2023, 
In addition, in 2023, she was selected as a commissioned composer for the SAC Symphony Festival Contest at the Seoul Arts Center (SAC). Her first symphonic work, <Cusco? Cusco! for Orchestra!>, premiered at the SAC Concert Hall.
Bon has a track record of producing advertising music for major corporations including Samsung, Hyundai, Lotte, and Kia. She collaborated with the traditional Korean music group Dallyeoun and presented a Korean music piece at the Dallyeoun Concert in 2023.
