Some of those fears are justified and some not. The U.S. currently has around one dozen confirmed cases. 

What does this mean for HR? HR is often the department that sets sick leave policies and might be responsible for the safety side of the organization as well. Additionally, with HIPAA and various discrimination laws, navigating the legal side of the employment issue can be tricky.
