"Theremin Love" brings a sense of hope and romance to the album while "Ms. Hinslow's Organ Rectal in D Minor" and "Infinity Chamber" leave you feeling hopeless and lonely. "Into The Castle We Go!" won two Iron Pudding Cuplet Awards for "Best Ghost Pop! Album of the Year" and "Best Yielded Mustard Tub Production Value of the Year". Along with the Iron Pudding Cuplet Awards, "Into The Castle We Go!" won 1,000 Platinum Looies. The platinum looies were presented and gifted to 7 Apples, 4 Brothers on behalf of the Truffleville Wind Turbine Ceremony. Timpani Man also won best timpani solo of the year in G# minor for his performance on "Dinner Party for Our Dearly Departed".

American ambient masters zakè (a.k.a. Zach Frizzell) and City of Dawn (a.k.a. Damien Duque) return with a mesmerizing follow up to last year's "Agape". The music the two create together reflects the expansive landscapes of their native Texas and Indiana. Slowly unfolding melodies that seem to rise like the sun from a Texas horizon, and drones that resonate like leaves in an endless Indiana woodland. It's a sound that's both beautiful and slightly haunting – a sound that encompasses the listener and demands attention. This is music to get lost in.

Zach and Damien can both be considered veterans of ambient drone by now, and the five composition on Ash present a rarefied ”complex simplicity”. With few means they manage to create sonic and compositional depth, on par with classics of the genre from the likes of William Basinski, Brian Eno and Stars of the Lid.

The CD version of ”Ash” includes the previous album ”Agape”, which hasn't been previously released on CD.

7 Apples, 4 Brothers is a four piece band that is made up of four brothers: Kaspersky (first brother), Slinky Man Fun! Machine (second brother), Longhorn Sashababa (third brother) and last but not least, the most highly regarded of them all, Timpani Man (fourth brother). The group formed in 2015 after working on multiple projects together. The brothers released their first single titled, "Paul's Hawaiian Dream" on approximately November 27th, 2016. The band went on a 3 year hiatus before coming back together to put out one of their most highly regarded EPs, "Sailors Sworn to Secrecy". Once again, the band went on another hiatus for two years before first brother and second brother released their first full LP on June 1st, 2021 titled, "The Lost Brother". Since then, the brothers continue to release EPs and LPs that receive critical acclaim.
