Just in time for the WorldOnOcean Tour DeArlo Caretaker Awards Ceremony 2021, 7 Apples, 4 Brothers released a remastered version of the "Paul's Hawaiian Dream" single which was the first entry into the brothers' catalog. "Paul's Hawaiian Dream" is believed to be recorded in fall of 2015. The single was released later on November 27, 2016 as the first 7 Apples, 4 Brothers release. This remastered single includes two b-sides. These b-sides are "TIABOLO (Live From The 21st Annual Looie Awards - Corn Bread Cuplet Ceremony)" and (All The Peas Are Picked (Live From WorldOnGrass Tour DeArlo Caretaker Awards Ceremony 2021). 7 Apples, 4 Brothers failed to answer on what their future projects may be, but they left us with a chilling line: "There is Wally Bread © in the ocean for every good sailor's boy." Could this be a puzzle piece to a larger picture?

American ambient masters zakè (a.k.a. Zach Frizzell) and City of Dawn (a.k.a. Damien Duque) return with a mesmerizing follow up to last year's "Agape". The music the two create together reflects the expansive landscapes of their native Texas and Indiana. Slowly unfolding melodies that seem to rise like the sun from a Texas horizon, and drones that resonate like leaves in an endless Indiana woodland. It's a sound that's both beautiful and slightly haunting – a sound that encompasses the listener and demands attention. This is music to get lost in.

Zach and Damien can both be considered veterans of ambient drone by now, and the five composition on Ash present a rarefied ”complex simplicity”. With few means they manage to create sonic and compositional depth, on par with classics of the genre from the likes of William Basinski, Brian Eno and Stars of the Lid.

The CD version of ”Ash” includes the previous album ”Agape”, which hasn't been previously released on CD.

7 Apples, 4 Brothers is a four piece band that is made up of four brothers: Kaspersky (first brother), Slinky Man Fun! Machine (second brother), Longhorn Sashababa (third brother) and last but not least, the most highly regarded of them all, Timpani Man (fourth brother). The group formed in 2015 after working on multiple projects together. The brothers released their first single titled, "Paul's Hawaiian Dream" on approximately November 27th, 2016. The band went on a 3 year hiatus before coming back together to put out one of their most highly regarded EPs, "Sailors Sworn to Secrecy". Once again, the band went on another hiatus for two years before first brother and second brother released their first full LP on June 1st, 2021 titled, "The Lost Brother". Since then, the brothers continue to release EPs and LPs that receive critical acclaim.
