We are John Shekerjian & Sean Bartoshuk of Elephants Everywhere, a band from Detroit based in Los Angeles. We both went to the same school growing up where we became best friends and started making music together as Elephants Everywhere. As a band we have always believed our best ideas come from playing instruments (piano & guitar) and writing music based on jam sessions we have together. We released “Give Me Love” on Unique Vibes in April, 2021 and is our biggest release to date

“On My Mind” started through a jam session we had in lockdown in May, 2020. The pluck melody heard throughout the song gave us a stuck in a dreamstate or trance sort of vibe, much like being in quarantine. One of our favorite things to add, as heard in the chorus of “On My Mind” are large brass stabs that in some ways emulate the “trumpeting” sound Elephants make. For us, the lyrics try to convey the feeling of having thoughts and emotions that you can’t get rid of or don’t know to express.
