Sonata performed to capitalism, on a very large instrument (music for airports).

This is a sonification of 63,259 arrivals and departures at the passenger terminal of the Hong Kong International Airport in July and August of 2019. One stereo channel corresponds to arrivals, the other to departures. On-time arrivals and departures are rendered at 1kHz. Early and delayed movements are rendered proportionally higher or lower respectively. Cancelled flights trigger the buzzer sounds.
