A Long Time Ago

R.Matter

After 7rystan’s trip had mostly worn off, having gone from amazing to absolutely horrible in a heartbeat since most of his memories were terribly corrupt. He wandered off to a nearby overhang by the road to avoid the rain, memories still flashing through his mind from time to time from the Highdration, and at this point he wasn’t sure if they were legitimate memories or corrupted ones… but one stuck with him. 

It was him in his past life in a beautiful restaurant with a live band and a dance floor dancing with someone dear to him. The mystery man’s identity was fuzzy, but he could hear his voice from time to time in his head... and it gave him a warm feeling every time. 

He sits there deep in thought, only broken out of it once he feels a poke on his shoulder and looks over to his left to see a horribly damaged synth with a burnt skull for a face sitting next to him. She gives a would-be horrific but mostly awkward smile and says “Hi." 7rystan simply smiles back equally as awkward.
