SPEED is back with another round of the Artist Invitation Mix series with foundation fm (UK), featuring an incredible artist. We're excited to present a mix from https://soundcloud.com/charlieowo representing for Hong Kong this edition of the series.

Charlieowo's DJ journey originated from a love in Psy, but has since ventured into a wide range of 4x4 and breakbeat tempos that transcend genre boundaries. Various textures and drum patterns are skillfully woven into her soundscapes, captivating the minds of all people.

Beyond her appearances at parties and festivals across Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, Charlie also launched her own YouTube channel in early 2023. Armed with her camping chair and DJ controller, she explores various natural settings to share music, creating a space for everyone to unwind from the usual hustle and bustle. Charlie is also the co-founder of @shimai.tribe, a party collective that marries themed parties with critical deep-dives into aesthetics and set designs, to provide attendees with a well-rounded music experience. 

Charlieowo 的 DJ 之旅源於對Psy的熱愛，及後涉足各種4x4和碎拍節奏，遊走於不同風格的邊界，巧妙地將林林總總的音色和鼓點收編於其音景之中。

除了在兩岸三地的派對和音樂節出沒，她也在2023年初開設了一個頻道，拿著她的露營椅和碟機走進大自然，在不同景色下分享音樂，建構大家共同喘息一刻的空間。她同時也是 @shimai.tribe 的創辦人之一，將對美學和佈景設計的研究融入主題派對，營造全面的視聽體驗。

DJ Set Mixer and producer. Brazil, Minas Gerais, Betim. Marcus had his first contact with electronic music when encouraged by friends in the industry in 2006. After several researches, starting the study in late 2011, he started exchanging experiences with several mine producers until he arrived at the label Underground Base, managed by Rodrigo Aquino (UB Tutorials).

Years after the label ended its activities, Marcus returned to professional mixing when he joined the renowned Padang Records (Brazil), which retains great artists and international titles. In the same year, he was invited to be part of Another Psyde (Australia) and was already included as a content producer and also as an agent for the label in Brazil.

Gao is the name of the Live Project Rollercoaster from Gabriel Gómez (2010) one of the most emerging music producer from the Chilean Psytrance scene. His deep bass line, with serious and obscure ambiences that will take you on mental voyage full of psychedelic deepness, generating a mental dance more than a corporal one.

It’s time for sixth edition of Mo:Dem Festival and in year 2017. the biggest novelty is our new concept with three musical stages. Here we present you the sounds of The Hive. In the past editions this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future. The First Harvest is the debut EP from French producer Sativa - Psynon records .

In the past four years he managed to create a musical universe in constant expansion, that gathers the multitude of sounds that you will be able to experience in his EP.

It takes place in an extra-dimensional growing forest which combines numerical, mechanical and many other kinds of strange leads. Dark atmospheres that bounce form side to side, allowing the creatures of the forest to have their voices heard in this psychedelic conversation. Upbeat but deep and groovy bass lines together with arpeggiated leads that talk around you and acoustic drums with a touch of reverb and delay, give a three dimensional effect to the tracks!

As we were sitting and watching the red frogs and black salamanders swimming around the sun pale reed and diving beneath and up the murky leaves at the bottom of the pond, the cool and gentle breeze swaying back and forth in the tree tops, as the light from the sun hitting the surface of the water. 
I could swear that the shimmering light got brighter and brighter and as the dripping sounds from the tiny waterfall gave the shimmering light rhythm, it all seemed to get bigger and bigger until we finally looked up, the whole garden around had become alive and more vibrant. 
Drunk on the wine of light divine, with a kind grin, we laid back on the freshly cut grass, submerging into the green. 
Ants and beetles of all shapes and colours  strolling about their day, leaving us in a state of awe and curiosity, an thought came too mind and i felt that this had too be told.

There are many tales from the garden and this is just one of them.
