We're happy to welcome the debut EP from @biota_official

BIOTA represents the symbiotic coexistence of flora & fauna, bridging ancient & modern, utilizing contrast to create colorful diversity. 
Their journey is exploration of sound and movement, driven by aesthetics of sound art, cinematic atmosphere, psychedelia and the gritty roots of blues and rock&roll.

In Sistema Organico, the Israelian duo Roman Galperin & Moses Chimen deliver a variety of sonic textures, from spacey feedback guitars through tasty analog synths, forest flutes, traditional percussion, shamanic vibes and more delights - all composed into musical moods to dive into.

The whole piece is inspired by the meditative depths of the natural world, a tribute to the forest, the jungle, the great rivers and thoughts about our relationship with them as human beings.

Drawing inspiration from the sacred volcanic lake Atitlan he calls home in the Mayan highlands of Guatemala, Mixwell weaves his sound from a rich tapestry of cultural influence that invokes the spirits of our ancestral lands while igniting the dancefloor.

"Espíritu de Fuego" explores some of the traditional sounds and textures that have most inspired Mixwell's musical journey - the Afro-Brazilian Berimbau and Cuica on "rebelião", the chilling sound of Colombia's native Gaita flutes on the title track, and the tribal chants on "vudu", all seem to evoke a fiery spirit, a wildly infectious energy that summon the body into ecstatic movement.

Não adianta esperar

Tras conocer hace solo unas semanas "Luar", el primer adelanto del que será el esperadísimo álbum largo de Baiuca, uno de los nombres de referencia para entender la alianza sonora entre música tradicional y electrónica de vanguardia, el segundo adelanto de lo que será "Embruxo" viene venenoso y se te extenderá por el cuerpo en los casi cuatro minutos que dura.

Cantado en galego, asturiano y castellano, "Veleno", nuevo single de Baiuca, cuenta con la ilustrísima colaboración de Rodrigo Cuevas, otro de los nombre fundamentales de la recuperación y resignificación de los códigos de la música tradicional ibérica, para llevarla a nuevos territorios.

El espacio en el que el gallego Baiuca y el asturiano Rodrigo Cuevas consiguen llevar "Veleno" es un auténtico ritual que consigue embrujarnos en la primera escucha. Una canción tan cerca de la estructura de una canción de pop ritual como del tribalismo norteño ibérico, de la folktrónica cantada o un downtempo de vocación global.
