Remaster/Arrange: Complete Darkness - Touhou 2: Story of Eastern Wonderland

The big city. The place where all the latest and greatest technology comes together, where the buildings pierce the clouds, where the freeways are filled with twist and loops, and nearly every building has a neon sign. This is the Transit Twist. Strangely enough though Robotnik's forces are here, they seem to have done very little to no damage to the landscape. Instead they're building some grotesque golden statue of him. That's a crime in more ways than one, hurry and stop him!

Super Mario Kart's Rainbow Road theme has always been a personal favorite of mine out of all the Rainbow Road themes, So I decided to try and put together an original Rainbow Road arrangement. I suddenly realized as I wrote this piece that it sounded alot like my Chilly Hills Galaxy theme, so now it's essentially an original piece with Chilly Hills and SNES Rainbow Road thrown into one super Rainbow Road Galaxy remix!

I really love the original song, i remember when i first played this game, the story made me cry a lot, i was around 12 back then i think.
I was surprised that a game could touch me so much emotionally, and the music was especially good as well, it used a lot of techniques that i have never heard in music before, for example, in this song, many of the chords consists of more than 3 notes at once, which gives it a very special feeling in my opinion.
I think the original composers of this game really did an amazing job, the OST is still very memorable to this day, and the final boss theme is one of the best final boss themes i have ever heard in a game, so i really enjoyed arranging it.
I kinda wanted the arrange to feel like an upgrade or something, like a non-DS version, but i also added some new things like bells, clock samples, and a little piano solo.
I hope you enjoy it, there's more commission uploads to come in the near future!

What does "Get The Punk Out" even mean? Are we evicting him?

Despite being the theme song of a character named Punk, it never felt like a very punk rock kinda song to me. So I tried to make it more thematically appropriate with a fast and wild drum beat and just generally going ham. Incidentally I think that's also a good way to help it fit in with X2's soundtrack.
