Serge Geyzel and Karsten Pflum are old friends, with a common musical ground and passion. Since 2020 they have been collaborating prolifically - focusing their energy and effort on dance-oriented electro, with strong acid, breakbeat, and IDM vibes.

“EP 2” is a five tracker, displaying a palette of funky, tight, deep, and quirky excursions into their acid galaxy.

Opposites coexist in an eternal loom that intertwines it all.
There is a magnetic energy, a sort of attraction between them that allows balance to exist.

We usually tend to see Nature and Machinery as opposites. But are they really?
There's undoubtedly a strong correlation between the evolution of one and the other and we can usually see machines & technology as another layer in Nature's realms.

Art & creations made through machines usually allow us to innerly explore diverse aspects of nature and understand them from another perspective. Many times music created using machines takes us to natural landscapes and helps us find inner connection with nature itself.
Whether they are opposites or not, we are strong believers that there is a potential balance within the coexistance of Nature and Machinery.

This dual compilation is intended to prove it.

Wayland’s signature sound is his unique stream-of-consciousness mixing style. His focuses are especially on the structure and its flow and ebb. Using ambient as his base tone while mixing in experimental or folk elements from time to time, Wayland often creates trips that take the audience on a time travel. In addition, he likes to mix with four decks and enjoys manipulating EQs, making his DJ sets approach more like live sets. 

Aside from being a DJ, Wayland is also the founder of “Purple Cow 2 Void” and “Hammer of God”, two collectives dedicated to promoting underground electronic music events throughout Taipei.

Wayland 의 시그니처 사운드는 그의 의식의 흐름과도 같은 유니크한 믹싱 스타일에 기인한다. 그는 특히 셋의 구조와 밀고 당김을 중요시 여긴다. 엠비언트를 베이스 톤으로 활용하여 익스페리멘탈, 전통적 요소들을 때때로 섞어가며 Wayland 는 관객들에게 시간여행을 하는듯한 경험을 선사한다. 더욱이, 그는 4개의 데크를 활용한 EQ 활용을 즐기며, 그의 디제이 셋을 라이브셋과 같은 느낌으로 만들어 나간다.

The Picatrix is the name used today, for a 400-page book of magic and astrology originally written in Arabic under the title غاية الحكيم Ghāyat al-Ḥakīm, which most scholars assume was originally written in the middle of the 11th century, though an argument for composition in the first half of the 10th century has been made. The Arabic title translates as The Aim of the Sage or The Goal of The Wise.

Picatrix is a composite work that synthesizes older works on magic and astrology. One of the most influential interpretations suggests it is to be regarded as a "handbook of talismanic magic". Another researcher summarizes it as "the most thorough exposition of celestial magic in Arabic", indicating the sources for the work as "Arabic texts on Hermeticism, Sabianism, Ismailism, astrology, alchemy and magic produced in the Near East in the ninth and tenth centuries A.D.

Driven by techno music since the 90-s. Inspired by Detroit, German and United Kingdom techno music.

Year 2001: creates a website about the Latvian undergroun electronic music along with dj BEAT, NGC-5128, Kombinator, Mario, Krabis & Co: 808.LV - resource all around Latvian underground electronic music (website is currently suspended due to reconstruction).

Year 2002: One of his first successfull composition "Returning" was included in local Latvian label's compilation "Motobase". 

Around 2003: The local record company "Ingus Bauskenieka ieraksti published the first part of the electronic music compilation CD" electronica @ *. lv. There is the track "Thin Science. 

Year 2004: "Selffish" a remix of "Prototype-1" was released on the German netlabel "Thinner". This track was also included in DJ Oblivion's mix, released on the netlabel "Subsource" (Germany).

Year 2004: The same label, the compilation "In 13 Inout exhalation" (Remix CD) from the series "Gas of Latvia". It's a remix of the track "Inout (Leaving The Planet E, Breathing Mix)".
